I need JIRA for sanity
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA's ability to integrate with other Atlasian products (mainly confluence, bamboo...) is a life saver for a product manager and "backlog owner" like me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like even more slicing and dicing of issues and maybe one more level of granularity between epics, stories and tasks...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engineering Project Backlog Story Tracking. Scrum Boards/Kanban PM.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you really put a good process in place. Dare to define your own process. If you only use it for simple bug tracking, JIRA is in my opinion overkill.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is like a personal agenda for a developer. Is the best way to achive goals with no pain. You can organize almost every kind of work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The look and feel is great, but should be impproved a little more. There is no need to have a save button, it should have autosave or something like that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a good way to make better software, so we use it as a todo list, and shared agenda for whole engineering team.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy JIRA makes it to read the user stories, acceptance criteria and mention other members of the team to gather further information in the comments
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the interface in JIRA to be a little slow and it tends to be unfriendly to non-technical resources
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA makes it much easier to organize and share user stories and get feedback on them from team members. It is also good for tying bugs back to user stories so they are easier to hunt down

Partially supporting Agile framework but we use for our sprint planning and sprint tasks.
More Effective Than Most Mainstream Platforms
What do you like best about the product?
E-mail notifications whenever project tasks are updated. Notifications keep you alert of project progress and easy to navigate through attachments, comments & who's currently in charge of project.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to maintain details of project tasks like actions, versions, fixes, etc...

Solving difficulties of managing big projects by providing a central location to handle project progress from start to finish.

Easy to use & organize to prioritize tasks

Lots of technical hiccups, holds up work

I like that if you need to organize and share with your customer you can do it with JIRA.

I dislike how many steps it takes to accomplish anything. Its more tedious than helpful.

The interface, extremely intuitive and simple to use.

Queries are not always that easy to write

JIRA helps your business to keep track of all the work performed by every team. Is as simply as powerful. I strongly recommend this software if you wish to build a successful business around your product.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please consider having a SysOps/SysAdmin team that takes care of Jira administration. Is not that easy to configure

Customized workflows is the best feature, in addition to it I even love the build deployment capabilities with bamboo
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't necessarily agile friendly. Also the auto generated reports need improvement.
