Easy task management and integrations, but UI changes and Rovo AI can frustrate
What do you like best about the product?
I like this project management tool. It’s easy to create tasks, assign them, and keep everything organized. I also love the new Rovo AI feature—it helps me write my stories in a more coherent way. The integrations are straightforward and easy to use as well. It’s been simple to connect it with Slack, Bitbucket, Prodpad, and my other tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can feel overly complex at times. The UI changed recently, and I’ve run into a lot of different issues since then. On top of that, the differences between team-managed and company-managed boards are huge, which makes it harder to switch between them or know what to expect.
Rovo can also be frustrating. I once spent over 30 minutes trying to get Rovo to make an update for me, only to check on Claude and realize that the update wasn’t actually possible in Jira yet.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management and consolidation are what I use this for most. I like that I’m able to properly track development tasks and keep everything organized in one place.
Clear, Team-Wide Visibility and Structured Workflows in Jira
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Jira is how clearly it structures work, making priorities, progress, and ownership instantly visible across teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can get a bit messy when there are lots of different projects and users to manage at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves the problem of fragmented task tracking by centralizing requests, priorities, and timelines in one place, which helps me stay aligned with stakeholders, anticipate dependencies, and deliver projects more reliably.
Great Kanban Boards and Integrations, but Ticket Customization Is Tough
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Kanban boards and integrations with other apps
What do you dislike about the product?
It's so hard to customize tickets and not a great inbox for reviewing notifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engineering tickets and issues to resolve
Structured, Visible Project Management with Jira
What do you like best about the product?
It brings structure, visibility, and control to project management, making it easier to stay organized and keep track of what’s happening.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira is a powerful tool, but it can feel complex and overwhelming for new users. Getting it set up and customized takes time, and the interface often comes across as cluttered—especially when you’re just trying to handle simple tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps address the problem of scattered work and limited visibility across projects by bringing everything into one place. It centralizes task tracking, bug reporting, and team collaboration, which makes it easier for me to stay aligned with what’s happening. The biggest benefit is having clear visibility into progress, priorities, and ownership, so coordination and accountability improve. It also makes sprint planning smoother and helps me track deadlines more effectively, which ultimately boosts productivity and reduces miscommunication within the team.
Jira’s Enormous Configurability Powers Our Daily Development
What do you like best about the product?
We use Jira daily and rely on it for our main software development activities. All of our engineering department uses it every day, so without it. the business would stop. I like enormous configurability of Jira that basically allows us to suit it to every possible need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes that advanced configurability can become a downside, because it will require time and effort to find and do what you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Software development mainly. Then documentation and process improvement. We also use Service Desk.
Great for Ticket Management and Task Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
It's good for ticket management/task tracking
What do you dislike about the product?
Properly configuring it takes a long time and is not easy to do
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team task management/tracking, both for tech and non-tech teams
Indispensable Project Tracking with an Intuitive UI and Kanban Boards
What do you like best about the product?
Jira has become an indispensable project management tool for our coding tasks. It lets us quickly see the status of tasks, the interdependencies across other work streams, and the overall progress of the project. The UI feels intuitive, and the Kanban boards make it easy to understand the status of work at a glance. The mobile application has also become indispensable for our team.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can feel cluttered when I’m working on larger, cross-team projects, and the licensing model can make it prohibitively expensive to deploy across the organisation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps our development teams stay aligned and track our Agile development process. It also enables our support and senior management teams to clearly understand the status of project development, identify any impediments in the pipeline, and manage our deployment process more effectively.
