Reliable tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to find a solution if you are stack somewhere due to being used by many companies. Good enough documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The looks are a bit bland. Also it seems that Jira tends to stay outdated. For example last time I used it there was no way to use markdown in the documentation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Jira mainly for internal documentation and ticketing. In both cases it worked fine but for a documentation sustained by developers I would look elsewhere.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There can't be anything wrong going with Jira. The system is being used by many big companies and the support seems to be good. The only thing I would recommend in case you are a developer is to check how much you can customize it to your needs and if it allows things you care about like Markdown support.
Good software but a bit complicated
What do you like best about the product?
The many features and that you can use JIRA for much more than project management
