Clean with great customability
What do you like best about the product?
Storage. Allows a great set of tool to search and customization to see variations of views and lists.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not the admin of the system, but it has an issue where unless we immediately change the status of the ticket, it will send infinite trackback emails to our customers. It doesn't happen if we remember, but mistakes are made every once in a while.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlining and tracking. We have had so many bugs that happen, and it was a pain filtering through emails to try to remember where we saw it before.

It is a fantastic tracking tool, very customizable for whatever your business needs.

Templating can be limiting, and the auto save when leaving a text box can be annoying

Web interfaces can be cumbersome. JIRA presents a clear concise pathway to project management for all of our developers.

I think there needs to be customized snapshots views of my current and past srprints.

My team find Jira user friendly and relatively intuitive and keeps us on track

It keeps our team organized and helps on stay on track. Great way to track bugs and workflow during sprints.

I can be very clunky and buggy at times making it difficult to navigate different pages.

Managing projects with a team spread around the world. JIRA helps synchronize progress and communication in one central and sharable location, between coworkers and clients, instead of endless email trails.

What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to create boards of types of tickets. It's easy to upload documents and nice that you modify your comments or add more if needed. It's easier to search than several other ticketing systems I've used as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
hard to assign to multiple people, though you can watch a ticket even if it's not assigned to you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
tracking requests, it works pretty well for that.
Must for agile/Scrum projects
What do you like best about the product?
Task creation and tracking is very easy... It provides the various metrics for each iterations too.. So I can easily track how many story points each of my team member is working on for a particular iteration.
What do you dislike about the product?
More metrics as well as alerting mechanism for tasks that are at risk of being completed.
