My 2 month experience with Jira

What do you like best about the product?
Easy can see all out going projects, follow my tasks, see progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira design is old school. Used before trello, UX was better

sometimes can't edit project descriptions and upload images,
history and old tasks is difficult to find
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing team tasks, i can see my persona progress and time what i spend for projects,

What do you like best about the product?
I like the integration with team support and that I'm able to monitor JIRA's throughout the process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes i feel as though I have to enter too much information, like I'm spending more time entering a JIRA that the team will spend fixing the problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bugs and Features within our software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good bug tracking tool and an organized way to submit feature requests.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Functionality and usability
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Search capability should be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the fast-paced Agile Scrum methodology, JIRA software helps to capture the user story, manage it, and track it. It allows the team to log the progress of the user story development. It is easy to attach email details and files to support the user story.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Excellent defect tracking software. Very useful and user-friendly software for Agile Scrum methodology/development.

What do you like best about the product?
Perfect from Agile development. Supports development from the creation of User Stories and Backlog through bug tracking.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface and admin tools are not intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Start to finish tool to keep our Product and Development teams on track through software development.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It scales with your team. It replaces the need for separate PM and bug tracking tools.

Great tool to track team progress. Ticket type clearly divided.

It took some time to really understand the complexities around the screen scheme and field schemes.

What do you like best about the product?
The way each of the tickets is managed through the tool, how easy it is to find something is another advantage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting it up or managing it can sometimes become cumbersome.

We manage the defects of developments and products and handle the tickets for production deployment.

What do you like best about the product?
Support for different boards like Agile Board, Scrum Board and Kanban Board.

User management is really good.

I can customize it for various development projects and I like features like workflow. There are four principal that makes this tool great as an Agile tool for any projects: sprint planning, stand ups, scrum planing and retrospectives. There are more to usability of JIRA and I just mentioned few of them.
There are a huge number of Atlassian supported add-ons, as well as vendor supported add-ons.

We love that we can setup a different template set for any number of various project types - and customize those with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found a way to set reminders or calendar events within JIRA.Formatting options are rather counter-intuitive. Closing a Jira issue is also a hassle - there are a lot of unnecessary steps (that's especially valid when dealing with simpler, short-term projects). For some file types attached to a Jira issue, there is no visualization/preview available and you need to actually download the file in order to view it, wich is not very time-efficient. Searching for an issue or a project by keyword can also be improved as it does yield search results but they are not always 100% accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Agile Project Management and Issue Tracking. We are using this in managing various Web and Mobile Application Projects.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple and consistent project flow. We can get more done and track more inefficiency from start to finish on any project.

I wish we had more alerts for deadlines that were coming up.

What do you like best about the product?
Best bug tracking software I have used so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support is sometimes slow. Product feature enhancement request should be more quick to remain in competition with other products.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was team lead for a product development team and I used this product to capture all bugs, feature request and monitor development activities.

Its good product. easy to install, Easy to use. Meets my expectations.
