Easy to use program management tool that can become very complex

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate, start small projects, reprioritize, track progress etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficult to scale to large companies. Difficult to manage many projects scaling many users and many requirements. Navigation becomes difficult and data entry complicated as required fields expand

What do you like best about the product?
I like the dashboard for a quick, complete look at what I need to tackle.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how the gadgets tab runs vertical, it would be helpful if you could drag and drop it into a grid system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to track items that has slipped through the cracks.

What do you like best about the product?
I like Jira's ability to easily organize and reorganize ticket, set priorities, attached images, segment users, and watch tickets
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont like that you cannot further segment alerts so that you only get certain types of actions per ticket rather than all actions tied to a ticket. I also would like better search and filtering
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working with outside developer, Jira helps us proritize and organize better. We have better visibiliy to diff stages of tickets

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the ticketing system can be customized and automated in a way that makes sense for how we handle our workflow. Being able to set logic (do this to a ticket and another is affected in a certain way) makes processes so much cleaner.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when resetting a ticket or workflow can feel a bit redundant or overly-involved. Something like a "Reset to Initial State" would be awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of having two or three separate teams with different end goals. One team is on the more customer-facing/get things done directly for customers side of things while another is on the production side.

JIRA allows us to bridge that gap and track progress to make sure everyone knows where things stand at any given time. The big solve is avoiding having to check in directly with a party involved...tickets handle that info!

Be sure to check out other Atlassian products, as many of them work well in conjunction.

What do you like best about the product?
There are customizations you can make to make it more useful for what you need it for.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is so massive and hard to get the hang of. Not user friendly. Very development based - not as useful for creative/marketing agencies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task management with clients and time tracking.

What do you like best about the product?
Thanks to Jira, we can use Kanban workflow to add tasks for our client's developers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Layout and UX isn't very nice looking and user friendly. I find it confusing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We switched from writing endless reports to managing client's teams. Thanks to that we can see implementation of our work sooner and it is always done right (we have to accept the tasks as "DONE")

Get it to implement Kanban in your team!

What do you like best about the product?
Integrates various Agile Tools in the SW Ecosystem.
All tools like SVN have a plugin for Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can do a better job with the UI/ Usability

Effective Bug Tracking/Agile Story board Tracking

Very Comprehensive Solution. It has a lot of plugins.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira's cloud-based solution allowed my team to track requirements, defects and interact with clients no matter where we were located. With a bit of coding we were able to integrate it into our web-based products to make it simple to capture information from our clients while they reviewed the applications we were building for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being a cloud-based product does have it's drawbacks. Atlassian was very responsive when we found issues in their product, however the pace at which changes were made to the software sometimes frustrated our clients. The major complaint was "every time I feel like I've started to understand how to use the software, it changes."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Jira to capture requirements, track defects and manage the overall project while consulting with clients on custom software projects. Jira made it very simple to share information with team members as well our clients via the web-based projects we created in Jira. I wish my new company was using it.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is a powerful tool when it's about managing work with teams. It's a perfect suite for giving visibility about what every component of the team is doing and also for finding out how the progress is going. I really like the flexibility when creating issues given that almost everything is optional and, at the same time, everything is there if you need it
What do you dislike about the product?
Some reports are too complex and some additional explanation will be welcomed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The coordination among teams and a better way of estimating the date for goals

Study and look up for post and information about all the features of this tool, and give it a try.

What do you like best about the product?
Plan, track, log your work based on the type of project you work on. The are numerous ways to track your work and there are awesome ways to extract reports. These reports can help every individual team member as well as it can extract reports at team level for a high level overview.
What do you dislike about the product?
It will take sometime to get used to and to start using it in a way where it really starts to make a difference in your daily work. There are just a lot of features that the are not directly accessible and comes in as a surprise when I find it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it for project management and capacity planning. It could take some time to create all the tickets and log in your work to track it but at the end of it, the amount of meaningful reports you extract out of it is simply amazing. It will help you plan and task projects better and will help make you more efficient.

If used to full potential this will definitely make you more efficient and a better planner
