A Clean Interface to Track Bugs and Projects
What do you like best about the product?
It offers a clean, clear list of tasks. You can search using an assortment of filters. It is very customizable.
What do you dislike about the product?
My manager at the time seemed to bemoan how to delegate access to users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the time, I was working as a software engineer, tracking bugs found in existing software, and occasionally adding new enhancements.

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to comment on other people issues as well as having clear signups
What do you dislike about the product?
The image manager can be clunky at times, I wish there were different view modes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use JIRA to communicate with designers and artists among varios social media assts that we create daily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you ahve a large team working on many small projects this is great.
Jira is a powerful tool
What do you like best about the product?
The tight integration with atlassian products is a definite plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface can be unwieldy. More control of form elements would be nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira serves as our ticketing system and helps us keep track of work needing to be done and work in flight and work that's been completed.

What do you like best about the product?
JIRA is a quality platform for a organization with several projects or products. It makes it really easy to create your own workflows which is essential as a company grows.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software is very heavy. Often times it's too much for a simple project or product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project Management and release management.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to go with a lighter product first. If that doesn't meet your requirements JIRA will.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is very useful for keeping track of the tasks you need to complete. Let's you know what's up coming next and when it's due. It is also helpful to know what all your other coworkers are working on to keep you up to date and make sure all tasks get completed. I like being able to see an overall timeline and being able to add and adjust anything to finish my task.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the UI on it has changed making uploading images a bit more harder to find than just dropping files in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of what is due and making sure we're right on track is the best benefit out of using this program.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to relate a task to bugs, featires, tasks, or notes is great - you can assign a task to a specific person that is related to a specific bug.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting functionality is limited - as a project manager, I have to dig a bit to get the information I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a good collaboration tool between multiple companies working together - we can easily enter feature requests for another team to work on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely have your map planned before entering in bugs and tasks...it will save a lot of headache.

Cannot delete the comments once entered. We tried to do it.

What do you like best about the product?
We can tell what our development team is working on without interrupting them from their workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still learning my way around. Seems like a very useful tool. Haven't found anything that I really dislike yet.

Organizing our development team into sprints and epics so the entire company knows which projects are actively being worked on.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is the Best way to handle the changes requests, Enhancements and bugs. We can pull customized reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Individual dashboards with customizable projects in it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Change requests, New Developments, Enhancements, Bugs are reported in Jira for better tracking.

Some features that should be a part of the core product are available only as paid add-on, e.g. time sheets, however the core price is acceptable.
