Pretty Intuitive Interface
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that we can customize it to our needs on the team. Views and dashboards are easily set up and shared with my group to ensure a consistent look for the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have enough experience to indicate dislikes yet though an annoyance would be that, due to it's seemingly unlimited customizability, there can be a tendency to overthink how it should function for the department and thus create too many opinions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cost for our previous system is the primary problem we are solving with this tool. The benefits include (as much as management will allow) the ability to customize it to our specific needs.
Awesome Tool.
What do you like best about the product?
This Tool has been really helpful for my projects , and keeps track of all my work tickets.
Each person's working schedule can be seen with the help of pie charts.
It also has many filters to design the viewer's page.

Only a few loading issues.
Main disadvantage is every member of the team can view the tasks finished by each.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides a lot of benefits such as tracking issues, maintaining logged data.
Company wide instance for project management and bug tracking
What do you like best about the product?
We use Jira for our central bug tracking and increasingly for our project management. Its a product that clients demand we use. Its known world wide and its granular permissions are very useful for ensuring that users of the product can only see the projects they should and also not edit parts of the project they shouldnt.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes in an IT Admin role, the permissions are so granular, you need some very detailed understanding of the product to be able to respond. There are dangers of users editing central templates that affect many projects if you dont lock down the permissions enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central place to manage projects and track bugs across many locations world wide.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ensure you have detailed knowledge of Jira before you select it.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike its UI. Its very boring. User experience needs to be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using jira in our current project and it helps a lot in tracking the work done and progress happening in each module as well as tracking the bugs.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend to try using JIRA applications in the Cloud.
JIRA for task/project prioritization
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA has good integration with source control systems. Tools like Crucible in JIRA that enable code reviews are also very useful for collaborative work. Integration with testing frameworks that enable both integration as well as user testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacks notification capability. There is scope for improvement in the task assignment feature of JIRA. However, overall it does not hinder work. Addition of this feature would just be an enhancement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developer coordinating multiple projects. JIRA is very useful for collaboration and testing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
great tool for collaboration and development
Jira review for midsized company
What do you like best about the product?
Overall, we now have a system where I feel that the requirements for documentation are communicated well.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's only as good as people using it. We have somewhat recently changed to a "subtasks" system, which makes measuring metrics difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a rapid delivery and release schedule, and using JIRA allows us to communicate with each other and with our customers.

JIRA - ideal tool for bug tracking
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA has the flexibility of a customized workflow for various projects. The dashboard and plug ins are a great bonus
What do you dislike about the product?
None in particular, but the enterprise license for non profits took a while to be activated
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking progress on US Federal Govt projects
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A great tool for bug tracking and reporting.
JIRA - Great Bug tracking tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I like it's simplicity and ease of use. JIRA makes issue/bug tracking very intuitive. I like the ability to tag users and add attachments to comments. The comment thread is easy to follow and JIRA tickets provide great context for documentation if you have confluence (another project management tool part of the Altassian Suite).
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like using it for a set of tasks ("JIRA Epics"). Being part of an implementation/on-boarding team, we use JIRA for keeping track of projects for a "Go-Live" and currently there is a bug where I am unable to clone an Epic and all the tasks underneath it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use it for issue or bug tacking and it does great for individual bugs/issues/feature requests/tasks. It is great tool, useful to collaborate within your team or entire organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool for individual bug or issue tracking!
Nice tool to collaborate

Great to collaborate with teams around the globe
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be nice if videos can be shared and posts can be edited
