Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best product for Agile PM
Ticket management for teams done with fine control
What do you like best about the product?
I often used this tool with team members and we had every feature we needed. We were able to assign a flow map for project states and maintained regular workflow. I really liked the ability to customize summaries and dashboard filters every project that I need to be working on for the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Server load would get slow on our installation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were maintaining our time to invoice clients. Marking how much time spent on a project allowed us to clearly bill the client for hours spent on every part of the project along the way by multiple workers.
Lots of Options, but Difficult to Jump Into
What do you like best about the product?
There are lots of configuration options that can cover all of your bases. There are a lot of features packed into the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Difficult to just get it working. It takes a lot of configuration and administration to get it into shape where it is truly adding value as an organizational tool.
2. The UI makes it a bit difficult to quickly know what is going on. As a relative novice to the product, it is hard to find what I'm looking for.
3. The search functionality is terrible. I can't tell you how many times I've created a story / ticket and not known what exactly I called it, and it takes way to long to find it again.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team organization. There certainly is greater clarity to who is working on what and how stories are progressing through the workflow.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
JIRA is the best tool on the market that successfully supports all the activities for projects following an Agile Methodology:
- The requirements are created/agreed upon and the grouped together into a Product Backlog
- The requirements (User stories) are ranked in the order of priority and business importance
- Once ranked, the stories are assigned developmental cycles (Sprints) that last for approx. 4-6 weeks.
- The detailed documentation is avoided. Instead, a scrum board is maintained that will show the status and progress.

powerful and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
custom bug queries, convenient test case management and integration with developer's sprint stories. great for a company using Agile.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is nothing that I particularly dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA has made communicating current work statuses across multiple departments very easy
Good Tool for Issue tracking
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA is a thorough and complete tracking system that supports product development and delivery. Use of it reinforces discipline and adherence to standards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes in an IT Admin role, the permissions are so granular, you need some very detailed understanding of the product to be able to respond. There are dangers of users editing central templates that affect many projects if you don't lock down the permissions enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Central place to manage projects and issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
buy it
Robust product with lots of features
What do you like best about the product?
Very customizable and robust offering of features. Definitely reliable and good for team collaboration on issues. Jira is a good piece in the Atlassian Ecosystem. I think it works well for those who need a lot of functionality and have a medium or larger size team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its greatest strength is also its biggest weakness. If you are looking for a simple app to just track bugs and tasks then you may want to look around. If you need simplicity over features then don't use this.
If you need bug tracking and project management functionality plus more dev tools(Bamboo, etc) and collaborations tools(Hipchat) then this ecosystem is excellent. They have alot of integrations and tools in the marketplace.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a system to tie into existing systems then use Jira. It has a lot of tools and features that will help with teams doing project management and bug tracking.
If you are looking for a simple product then you might be able to find something better. It's not that Jira is overly hard, it just packs a lot of features you may not use and might confuse some users.

Good start for CICD Product Development Pipeline
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate software with rich ecosystem of functionality and connectivity to 3rd party services
What do you dislike about the product?
Adding new JIRA tasks is not very optimized from the Scrum/Kanban board. There is the need to always specify multiple fields and it takes more time than needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA enables us to streamline our product development lifecycle.
Great took for our agile development practices
What do you like best about the product?
I like having different flexible workflows and boards and many extensions that are available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of performance issues when dealing with large backlog views.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management and product management support.
Smooth tracker
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is the UI of JIRA which is the best one. It is very simple, very flat design yet gives you a rich look and easy to navigate through the features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dislike is that it costs you. You need to pay for it rather then I dont find any defect in the software
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps keeping the track of all the project flow from starting till the end, you progress and end to end activity for each project.
