Good for project management, not so for product management

What do you like best about the product?
Pre-built charts and custom boards are great. I like the summary views and history too
What do you dislike about the product?
No real hierarchy to tie stories to features to epics.

Powerful Tool, But So Open-Ended You'll Spend Hours Managing It.

What do you like best about the product?
This is a fantastic tool for scrum-style project management. It allows you to think in terms of sprints and individual task-sets and flows within a platform and track time, subtasks and follow ups to works.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool is a bit too open-ended at times. If you are not an expert with the tool, have an IT team managing it (like you kind of need to for large Salesforce implementations) or have a very simple use case you will find yourself mired by just how much configuration, architecture and overall design thought is required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We accomplished more granular time tracking for various projects across teams with this, and also have consolidated all of our groups into a single interface.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira makes it simple to organize my epics, versions and stories. I appreciate the built in reports and backlog management capabilities as well. As an agile coach, it is very useful to have a simple tool that you can teach a team to use, and Jira has it all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workflows are a bit complex and not the simplest to use. You don't have to set them that often, but I am not a huge fan when I have to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to keep my teams organized. Using Jira is giving us that organization, and insight into our performance.

What do you like best about the product?
Good for tracking Project work like sprints, user stories, bugs, defects. We use Jira to track backlog items as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
some times its difficult to move the task from one status to another state.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for tracking projects tasks on individual level and for testing bug logging

What do you like best about the product?
It just works. If you're running Agile - Kanban or Scrum, it's an easy tool to use that many are already familiar with. Plenty of customization and easy dashboard creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Real-time updates and collaboration features could be better. It typically will require a refresh to see changes to an issue or a backlog.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating requirements from product to design to engineering. Tracking work and development flow. JIRA allows us to ensure each issue goes through a consistent process to ensure quality.

What do you like best about the product?
The ticket created for service request is I believe a good feature of JIRA.
What do you dislike about the product?
The JIRA is a very heavy application, with lot many collaborations with third party sites such as 'Confluences'. Hence it takes lot of time to load and carry out simple operations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create front end templates for accessing databases, the template errors are shared over JIRA.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Good site as it solves the basic functionality of showing errors and sharing the error windows.

What do you like best about the product?
JIRA is perfect for tracking the onboarding process of IT software solutions for our 100+ clients at one time. We love the ability to have all updates emailed to the specific project team members. I love the available dashboard graphics and ability to customize them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I have to get hacky with JQL queries in order to properly pull and sort through our 100+ onboarding projects to get a holistic picture.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use JIRA to track the onboarding process of healthcare IT and the many handoffs from team to team. We've realized that we're able to have all eyes on the project at once and create accountability for teams who miss deadlines. It's great to have he JIRA history as o go back through and analyze where things went wrong.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great to track IT work - perfect for any size company or project.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira is great for maintaining a project from start to finish and keeping the entire team informed. You can tag team members to specifically question, but have settings set for each member to be informed so we're all aware.

I like the tips they send every once in a while to maximize Jira capability.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Jira program isn't super user friendly, but with frequent access you'll get the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Maintaining a project from start to finish and tracking edits as well signing off when complete.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share document between your colleagues , comment, edit, collaborate ,version controlling
What do you dislike about the product?
the menu and submenu can be hidden sometimes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we used it at redhat to launch LMS and it was best tool to track and ongoing changes to our project
