All-included tool to help teams with SCRUM and Software Development
What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely powerful, yet extremely easy to use. Learning curve for new users is almost flat.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you need something that's not included, it can be a bit hard to find out how to add/enable that feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with Agile methodologies such SCRUM. It provides all we need to manage our project, the roadmap ahead, and the short-term goals, in a way that everyone is in the same page. I am the SCRUM Master at the moment and it was very easy to sell JIRA to the team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend on-boarding all members of your team to JIRA, explaining what is it for and how it can help. If you are doing SCRUM, I recommend using it to plan sprints, define roadmaps, write retrospective meeting documents and document work in general.

Not a fan, but it does its job
What do you like best about the product?
I'll be honest here: I am not the biggest fan of JIRA. The only good thing I can say is that this software (and its workflow) fit our needs as an agency working under SCRUM. It does what it needs to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
JIRA is probably the least user-friendly software I have ever used. It is not intuitive, and it's tough to use if you have no experience with it. There a million moving parts - between boards, projects, stories, issues, bugs, etc. - and it's hard to keep track of every single one. Even something as simple as finding a past issue or story that has already been completed is hard to do. I've been using this software for about 2 years now and even I still feel like I don't know how to do everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The business I work for is a web development agency who used to operate under a waterfall workflow. In the last two years or so, we adapted SCRUM and JIRA helped us transition our workflow. It is helpful in that it does what we need it to do and it helps us organize our projects, but it's not necessarily the best product out there. It does its job but that's about it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's not user-friendly and intuitive, but it does its job.
