The best project and issue tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I like most 2 features below:
1. Linking - You can link different tasks. For example, TASK-123 is depended on TASK-456. you can be aware of the dependency among the tasks.
2. Sub Task - A complex task can be divided to smaller sub-tasks so that it is more manageable and can be assigned to different people.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think it not a think sound I dislike something like that
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It make our work quickly because there is no need to attend any training to start using JIRA. It has becoming slightly complex over the years, but the usability is still very good compared with other tools.
Nice working tool
What do you like best about the product?
Really nice working tool to organize teams, tasks and mainly to use Scrum methodology
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes can be tricky to find some tweaks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team management, visibility and task distribution
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Organize your work in sprints, it's the fastest way to see things and their states
Easy Manage Tickets and Log Support Issues
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to log support issues or client requests and then easily track progress of such requests and support issues. Also ability to log issues and tag certain people or assign certain people to watch issue is helpful. Also the fact that issues are logged under task story or bug and with mobile vs web platform its easier for our programmers to know what we are referring to.
What do you dislike about the product?
If a user starts a task or issue they cannot be removed from the issue and are notified on every update until the issue is closed. At larger companies this may be helpful but at smaller ones like mine it can be more bothersome than helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing support issues in a timely and organized manner. The ability to relay progress to clients wanting to be kept updated on how a certain task is being handled. Also its easier to manage client requests we may not have time for right away.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Very helpful for cross departmental communication. Manage tickets and support issues easily
Easily organize tickets and projects
What do you like best about the product?
I like how customizable the ticketing systems are, and how easy it is to progress through a workflow. Acceptance criteria, points, and upcoming sprints are easy to see at a glance. Velocity reports are great. Salesforce integration works well for user-reported bugs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since we are Agile, sometimes it's not as flexible as needed when we add tickets to a sprint. We may pull in something new and complete it, but the reports will be off. I also wish there were more ways to tag certain tickets. Some may fall into multiple epics or "buckets" that I want to filter by.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is our main way of organizing work packages and reporting estimated delivery dates. It helps us see what's left in our backlog and what's ahead to work on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make use of integrations that work for you.
Great tool to track Agile movement
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I liked about it were the variety of charts and graphs which helped us to have a clear understanding of our sprint work. Also the ability to create sub tasks for user stories. The ability to prioritize the stories in the backlog so as to take it up in a sprint is also beneficial. We can also customise or configure the application which helps us to keep the application as common as possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing as of now which I dislike, will definitely update if found any. We moved from another application to this , it has been better since then.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work in a ScaleAgile mode hence it has helped us a lot in performing our Agile movement in our work. We have improved the way we work and all our efforts are tracked properly. Ability to provide screenshots of our work also help us to answer the Scrum master better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes indeed, Will recommend if working in Agile mode.
The best Time Management tool -JIRA
What do you like best about the product?
Jira has been an effective solution for a daily issue and time tracking. It's a highly efficient tool for tracking the work done by the team.
It requires no effort in planning the tasks but provides an easy feature like the addition of tasks, effort logging, easy monitoring of whom the task is worked upon by.
Another best thing is the burndown chart which makes it even better to know the work progress.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is absolutely nothing that I dislike about JIRA. It's been a good experience using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a requirement of an efficient yet an easy to use a tool in order to track the work done by the team.
So in an agile team, it is always important to track things as the tasks are to be completed in a sprint which spans to 2 weeks.
JIRA has been a savior on that front. The features from adding team wise stories to individual tracking are a must mention.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it! JIRA definitely Saves a lot of effort.
JIRA is the best software project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how complete and versatile it is, where users can have different "schemes", workflows, even issue types for each specific project. I also like how they have implemented both Scrum and Kanban and how easy it is to manage backlogs, boards, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, precisely because how versatile it is, it can get complicated to edit projects, because there are so many parts involved. However, this is something that, after practising a bit, it gets easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ORGANIZATION. We have seen a big improvement in our development times and back and forth. It also helps the team to see more clearly the big picture of a project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely give it a try. It can be hard at the beginning to learn how all the parts come together, but after you're set up, it'll make your life waaay easier and save you tons of time.
Real-time, socialized issue- / task-tracking features fit for enterprise needs!
What do you like best about the product?
As an issue-ticket creation and collaboration platform, it efficiently connects teams with task information that collaborators need to get work done, faster, simpler and more effectively. JIRA projct spaces are perfect also for creating and organizing rich content related to Atlassian Confluence knowledge-bases.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I am concerned about is the storage capacity of the cloud-hosted platform. It currently on has a max storage size of 25GB per site. Also, the Atlassian tempo timesheets still need to be paid for as an add-on. Would be great if it can be offered free as part of the JIRA bundle.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used JIRA to allow our organization to create/manage task-ticketing spaces for every team, department, or major project, so that everyone can collaborate on task/issue resolution, sharing issue information and keep work organized.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do the pertinent research on the various task-ticketing online tools that deals with using JIRA as a user, as an admin, as a project collaborator or project lead. Taking the effort to learn how to use JIRA will certainly help make your transition into it, much smoother and much more efficient.
Jira is a good tool for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like that i can track the issues that i raise and see them getting worked on, getting a response from the person that i had assigned the issue in the first place. Another thing i like is it is cloud based no installation just pay as you go.
What do you dislike about the product?
That i have to pay for users that are not even using the tool we currently have a 500 user subscription and yet only 209 licences are in use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
collaboration, even with people not in our organization. This reduces call times and skype calls
Recommendations to others considering the product:
if you are looking for a bug tracking tool that will solve all your needs use jira
Good product for Development
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface, Kan-ban style approach makes managing projects and tasks much easier. Additionally, the fact that it will send/receive emails for tasks is great; means that you don't have to go into the tool every time a question on an issue is raised.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maintenance/Administration is overly complex. Workflows have a lot of flexibility but can take a long time to get working correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using an agile based approach to manage open issues/bugs in our projects. Biggest benefit is visibility. Easy to see all of the open work and the current status of each task\issue\enhancement.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Test drive it to make sure that it meets your needs before purchasing.
