JIra
What do you like best about the product?
Jira helps us organize our development team. We use this to be able to decide what to work on during our new developments .
What do you dislike about the product?
It very hard to follow. It also does not make it easy to close tickets. When something is no longer relevant there is no easy way that we have found to close a ticket on a non relevant bases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using JIRA to help our developers know what they should be working on and what is in need of their time before something else. this helps us track and decide what is going to be in the new builds for our software.
Great bug tracking system

1. Has everything you need to track stories, epics, bugs for your development team.

1. Reporting could be better

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BUg tracking and sprint planning.
Good software with lots of features to understand.

Good software but it is difficult to use unless you know the interface very well.

Interface is confusing. I would prefer an easier way to navigate through the software.

Managing ticketing and development process.

Learn all the functionality first and really understand the software before using it.

Could use more flexibility in defining the custom workflow for software processes.

I like the ease of use and how it helps us pass tasks between our team members as we collaborate.

I don't like having to set up the workflows.

It's very complete, my workflow is perfect using Jira.

I don't like the layout... I think this very confused sometimes.

I thinks when very problems are solving, example:
- comment an issue using a message the git commit

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of being able to create epics, tasks, stories, and the ability to track bugs. The fields when creating these items help with organizing and searching within multiple projects. My favorite thing about JIRA is the project component.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish this had more insight into the product management sector. It's very hard to manage roadmaps, features, bugs, and basic project needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I wouldn't say we are solving many business problems with JIRA. It's a tool to manage development tasks to ensure that they are completed and released into production.
Agile project dream
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA is something I never knew I needed until I started using it. Suddenly I was able to show more accurately how I was progressing against tasks and had a streamlined way of tracking how far along each I was. Plus, my good work was being shown to my managers! Pretty great all around.
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the UX isn't great from a visual point of view. And it was a bit of a learning curve. But once I got used to it, I was set.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, bug tracking for product development were all improved via using JIRA.
JIRA for Studio/Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplistic view that JIRA offers. It is easy to navigate, easy to track projects, easy to train new users on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes wish JIRA had more sophisticated features to it. i.e. being able to organize attachments within a project.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA is the crux to our day to day business. If we didn't have JIRA, we would not be able to operate. Plain and simple.
Project Management tasks in Jira
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it allows you to track tasks and assign them to larger overall themes and "modules" in a development project.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a little while to get trained on all the pieces. But it is worth the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Jira to track tasks and development time for an open source software platform. This helps us understand what our contributions are to the stock model and allow us to easily know what to integrate when new releases come out.
