Easy UI
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to understand and operate. Great operational platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found anything unlikable yet. If I do I will update my statement.

Used for our development tickets.

The Epics and stories structure, with the visual backlog. User configuration.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have a Themes on top of Epics out of the box and not to use fancy plugins instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Holding requirements. Prioritization of features to be delivered. Daily sync.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Limitations in Jira exists for a reason, e.g. like issues hierarchy
Do not create too much columns in Kanban boards or Agile sprints as you'd be confused after a while.
Use colors to identify different issue stages on boards.

Jira- track the work at one go
What do you like best about the product?
An all in one place that includes all the activity related to the project/task, easy to use. Can track all the activity at one single place, including the work done by multiple team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
GUI can be little more efficient, other than that nothing to dislike. Also it offers a lot of features and people who want just a little tracking might go to other project tracking softwares.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Issues, tickets, project management, incident management. Most of the project tracking, task assignment and progress is done through Jira and it is really helpful on a day-to-day basis.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Improving the GUI a little bit more.

Need to remember syntax for making tabs, highlighting, done etc.

We can create jura for every requirement and make a child for every module to track progress

Easy ability to upload and share documentation.

No email notification when you are not signed in.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked the reporting that we could use Microsoft Project for. We were able to pull past projects and determine budget and time spent using the resourcing tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
We often had to use the Project web app when the program was not responding, and you were only able to open it in Internet Explorer. It was time consuming and inefficient as we never used that browser otherwise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to see all resources at one time was really beneficial to a project where so many people were involved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider adding more options for using the web app in various browsers.

It is easy to track progress for many projects at once. There are also many customization options for a variety of projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface is a little clunky and there are periodic bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps our projects in order and on track. It helps us with deadlines.

It can help organize many different projects.
JIRA is an EXCELLENT choice for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simple to use and effective GUI that JIRA uses. It is very intuitive and there are many ways to customize it's use for your company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I find to not like is the cost, although it is a detrimental software system for us so it is reasonable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to track work orders and support users with much more effectiveness and a lot less time/headaches.
Using Jira for Agile in software development
What do you like best about the product?
The support is the best, they respond very fast and always resolve the issue on the first call. Also the plugins are very good and very easy to install. The support is not expensive and the knowledge base is very compleate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The complexity of the configuration, it takes a good amount of time to configure the product and to put it in production. The administration is somewhat confusing, you need to read all the cumentation to dominate it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for the control of the software development cycle, it help us to follow the tasks more accurately. It helps to follow the proyect managemnt very good.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Read the documentation and always pay for support, it is not expensive and helps a lot. Check all the plugins offered, they are very useful.
Great Project Management Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that you're able to collaborate with other developers. I'm a freelance developer so I work with teams that aren't centrally located. It helps all of us stay on track and know what issues are the most important. It's a great way to stay organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little cluttered sometimes and I feel like the UI could use a little love. It's just not really pretty like Trello or other project management tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to collaborate with other developers on shared projects. It's beneficial because it keeps everyone on the same page.

Try it out. It's very flexible and it has a lot of great features.
