Agile Project Management with JIRA
What do you like best about the product?
I started using JIRA in my current organization and it is so well sorted application. It offers more than what I need. The ease of managing project using agile methodology. Sprint management, backlogs and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far, I have a very good experience using JIRA. I do fell that you need better understanding on agile methodologies to make efficient use of JIRA or else you will not realize it's true potential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business model involves multiple release of a product with shorter sprints at a time. This needs intelligent project management tool to track our development progress.
JIRA helps me as a user to track my progress and check if I am falling behind my plan to do the re-adjustment well in advance.
Ease of use is another feature which helped me adapting to JIRA for my day-to-day development tasks.

Jira Platform Review
What do you like best about the product?
How it allows multiple people to collaborate on a change that is requested for any related system that is being used by the business
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much that I don't dislike, one small issue I have is with exporting a ticket since it can cause my computer to crash sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to effectively upgrade our software and ERP's so that we can be more productive and efficient in delivering quality products and services to our customers. By being able to collaborate with numerous people on a change, it makes it extremely audit friendly for when our auditors come around.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The more people buy into using the software to collaborate in the ticket, the more efficient and effective the software will be for your company. By having people comment and give their approvals in the ticket itself instead of through external sources such as emails, it will make it more effective.
Great Tool for Task Management and Agile JIRA for Agile project execution
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create and assign tasks. It is also extremely easy to use and track.
What do you dislike about the product?
User interface can be more friendly to users. Sometimes there are too many clicks to view information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been using JIRA for managing Agile projects. We have a global distributed scrum team and we are able to manage projects with ease.
Jira for development
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to track Tasks & Sub-Tasks through the development and testing process. Making Agile sprint boards is relatively easy and visually easier for developers to see their tasks for the week.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are a new user to Jira, it's hard to grasp all of the features that can be done/used. The agile board was hard to figure out how to make sprints at first, but once you get the hang of it... it's super easy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for tracking development and testing. It has robust features like being able to track LOEs vs Actuals and see where you may be off with your estimates.
Enterprise grade system for managing Agile SW development
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of configuring different workflows, screens and fields. The Agile board capability is extremely flexible and comprehensive. It's a great tool for managing development tasks and issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The built in dashboarding is not very flexible and the out of the box gadgets are somewhat limited. There are options to report using integrations to Power BI, but these are fairly new and require a level of development effort to implement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA enables our team to have a comprehensive view on the issues required for our SW development projects. It has become a central point for Sprint planning and execution, as well has historical visibility to our development efforts.
User friendly platform
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and keeps my organized on a daily basis
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not encountered anything I dislike at the moment
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits would be that we are able to keep track of different projects
JIRA is a powerful ticketing tool
What do you like best about the product?
We use JIRA for dozens of ticketing reasons across our large organization. It allows for consistency across a company who has several offices internationally and domestic.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think this is a more internal thing, but it is sometimes hard to decide from the dropdown lists what exactly to tag my tickets as. I think the UI is quite easy to use but could use a more modern appeal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I submit daily tickets for our CRM, LMS, internal projects. I have been able to meet and collaborate with coworkers across all of our offices.
Powerful but clunky agile development tool
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is a one stop shop for tracking all issues we're working on, from bugs and tasks, to users stories and epics. The tool can be customised lots so can easily be set up to suit your team's needs - different fields, workflows etc. It's been a crucial part of ensuring that all requirements are captured, not lost and that our development, testing and release activity is smoothly managed.
Confluence is a great part of Jira too and has replaced clunky document management on cloud based storage solutions or, even worse, someone's desktop..
Confluence is a great part of Jira too and has replaced clunky document management on cloud based storage solutions or, even worse, someone's desktop..
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that Jira is not the most user friendly. It took a long time to become really comfortable with it. There are a fair few inconsistencies throughout the system too - e.g. releases can be called releases, versions, fix versions... little things like this just make it a bit harder to adopt.
While Jira is a reasonably complete solution, my team still finds themselves reverting to spreadsheets and capturing info outside of Jira from time to time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Tracking issues at all levels, from task to epic
- Maintaining a prioritised backlog
- Allocating work to development sprints and developers
- Tracking work assignment to releases

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jira is customisable to work for you team's needs but isn't the most user friendly and is sometimes quite slow. I'd recommend evaluating the other products out there in addition to Jira to see what meets your needs most, paying special attention to usability.
Intersting experience.
What do you like best about the product?
Jira can seemingly handle an infinite number of projects, tasks, and subtasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira can seemingly handle an infinite number of projects, tasks, and subtasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Jira to manage creative team projects. The benefit of this is that it is the "one source source of truth" and everyone is able has a record of their work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Better for technical teams. Not the optimal choice for creative teams.
