Powerful and easy to use issue and project management software.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how flexible the software is. For software development work, its easy to create a SCRUM based project, and for other activities a simple Kanban board can do the trick.
What do you dislike about the product?
User based pricing. When working with consultants or freelancers you can run up a lot of users quickly and the price changes are pretty drastic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use JIRA to handle all tasks and assignments outside of sales. This includes mobile app, software developing and even marketing activities.

Take a look at your current user levels to check on price.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to create sprints, assign work within a sprint and view progress of the work throughout a sprint. JIRA allows us to work in an agile way. We are able to log bugs and stroies, assign estimations and then use JIRA to manage the work through sprints.

What do you dislike about the product?
it would be nice for JIRA to have more levels of task available. You cant currently bring a sub task into a sprint without bringing in the entire story, this would be a useful feature

What do you like best about the product?
Works better than Trello, more advanced features. I can handle EPICS, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a lot for new-combers learning the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finding out our velocity via burndown rate charts and gauging sprint in reviews.

Want an agile environment to help productivity, this is it.
An excellent, well organanized application
What do you like best about the product?
I love the new look, especially the Kanban dashboard with the issue detail popouts. It allows for an overview of the project while still maintaining specificity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think setup is more difficult than it should be.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA helps us effectively track software bugs and move our technical projects forward efficiently.
Great for assigning tasks
What do you like best about the product?
It was useful when I assigned others tasks within a larger project. They were notified and all the details were there and didn’t have to clog up our email with the details. Once one person was done, it would trigger the next person to start working.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be slightly confusing and take some time to get used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using Jira to keep our digital marketing projects in order. It was great to have them all in one place and projects were all there for later, even easy to search older projects if they were labeled well.

Do some research before choosing Jira. There are many project management tools out there!

Its project management and confluence features

Nothing apart from a bit of UI features..which could be improved

Definitely yes..
Great for teams but not the easiest Navigation
What do you like best about the product?
I like the centralized database so different teams can be more of a community and there is no question where information is stored.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not easy to go back and find your already submitted tickets or to navigate in general
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRAs allows our customer facing teams talk to development for bugs, requests, etc in a centralized location so everyone has access. This prevents bottlenecks and eliminates questions and keeps everyone accountable.

What do you like best about the product?
The tracking of changes made to the stories is quite awesome. Time tracking is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI could be improved to be more friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used for the scrum team. Scrum execution is achieved better using JIRA.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how the information is organized and how easy it it to use the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a pretty costly product. Wish there was a free version for personal use.

Organization and visualizations of tasks on projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend this product. It is the best I have used out there to cleanly and quickly organize and display work to be done.
Get projects aligned no matter your methodology
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to use different project management methodologies, bring in different parts of the business to gain visibility on all work in progress
What do you dislike about the product?
The removal of the quick ability to clone a project is a detriment. There are workarounds to be able to do this, but having the quick and easy ability to clone a project is the biggest functionality missing (read: removed)
