Help to organize your tasks at work

What do you like best about the product?
It is complete, a lot of tools and ways to organize the tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is crowded, there is so much ways do to the same thing. It is not very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organize and keep track of the tasks at work.

What do you like best about the product?
JIRA is powerful it have integration with wide range of solutions you have the option to use both cloud or on-premise installations

The role and users management can be improved
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We develop our products using both in-house and out-source teams and JIRA let us manage the projects and share information between the team members, with product managers and track issues and progress keeping me up to date with the status of all the projects status
Recommendations to others considering the product:
JIRA is an affordable issue tracking and project management solution with wide range of add-on and integration making it great solution for small to medium sized teams

Project management for the best

What do you like best about the product?
If you want the best project management software, Jira is the right place. It’s the one place that keeps everyone on the same page when there are multiple people working on multiple projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user experience on both the web and mobile interface could be improved. They are not horrible but the mobile experience is extremely lacking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA has helped keep all of our projects on a timely schedule, due to the amount of information put in by our developers, testers, and admins.

Decent Project Management Software

What do you like best about the product?
I like the way Jira displays projects on Boards. It's easy to see who is assigned to what and what phase of the project the specific task is in.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm just a user, not an administrator, so I'm not sure how much of my issues are the way we have it set up or the product itself. The main thing I dislike about Jira is that we also use it for tracking time spent per person per project and our timesheets are generated out of that data. Accessing the reports screen is a bit of a hassle. Another issue we have is that the Board gets really crowded quickly and then you aren't looking at a snapshot anymore, but having to scroll around. etc. We only have maybe 14 people on our team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's an economical project management and timesheet tool for our company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
My only recommendation would be to be very thoughtful about set-up and minimize the number of clicks for users. I'm specifically thinking about popping into reports.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira provides one of the best suites of project management tools available. It's incredibly easy to manage both large and small teams for a variety of project types!

- System is intuitive and easy to use
- Jira has every feature I could possibly want, and more
- It's easy to create sprint / agile boards
- Integration works incredibly well with other programs -- my coworkers can update their tasks from slack, even.
- It's vastly reduced the amount of time I have to spend on sprint planning
- The design is simply beautiful after their latest update
- Security seems to be quite good!
What do you dislike about the product?
- It still takes considerable effort to create/input all of the data, however there's not much that can be done to solve this issue.
- It's very daunting when you first give it a try, although I don't know if they've updated their beginner tutorial since I last did it a year or two ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira to help manage the staff at our office, and several of our big projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely give it a try! Out of all of the (many) project management tools I have used, Jira is the absolute best.

Don't be afraid to make test projects while learning the ropes! You can always delete them later.

What do you like best about the product?
We're able to use Jira for both product teams and for business teams. We have an integrated solution for our entire business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tradeoff to flexibility is flexibility...sometimes you can implement the wrong processes and controls. Not a ton of best practices available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unified project tracking and project analytics.

What do you like best about the product?
I am a project manager and this is one of the best tools out there! This is such a big improvement over google sheets or MS Project. You can have multiple people on the same ticket, it's great for tracking hours, and time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the search doesn't always work and when you use it, it won't find files for you. It takes me multiple tries using different key words to get what I want. So the search can be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great tracking time, hours, spent on a project. It has burn down charts and basically everything you need to run a project successfully. We use it for bug tracking as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a great tool for everyday tasks. You can manage people using filters which is super helpful!
