What do you like best about the product?
Managing sprints and creating work plan in planner is awesome
What do you dislike about the product?
Components cannot be versioned. The planner is quite difficult to use and it requires more training and ease of usage

We track product launch related releases

I recommend that jira to be used where agile framework is being considered and diligently used
Excellent project management and team collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Features like epics, scrum boards - agile and kanban, excellent way to manage scrum process for multiple teams. Easy to create dashboards with out of box widgets to get visibility into team velocity, sprint status etc. many integrations with other software development tools
What do you dislike about the product?
sometimes integrations with other tools like github takes long to appear in the jira ticket.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, Agile, Scurm process for engineering teams

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to reflect what you work on, how long you worked and when on the dashboard is amazing. Reports are helpful in analyzing, what can improved and how it can be improved.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is not self explanatory and not easy to use.

Fix bugs, use it as a agile board to keep track of tasks

What I like most about Jira is really it’s purpose; it helps keep my tasks organized and makes it easy to see what needs to be done and what’s still in progress
What do you dislike about the product?
The software honestly needs a lot of UI/UX updates.. there are things that come naturally that you can’t do and sometimes the software is slow to register actions.. for example if I have something in the acceptance column and try to move it to dine, it’ll say that the item was never moved to acceptance.. doesn’t make sense! It is also fairly difficult to do basic actions like adding new users or cloning tasks. The software is super comprehensive but it’s not very intuitive or easy to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency and team collaboration; helps create transparency about what’s on our teammates plates and also makes it easier to know when there’s TOO much
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Major UX/UI updates.. I understand its a software built with fellow software developers in mind, but if its going to be used by less tech/code-savvy users like marketing agencies and other organizations moving into Agile, it needs some more user-friendly features and navigation

What do you like best about the product?
We do use jira to both manage the product development lifecycle as well as for our support site and it works great in both context. Our IT has been able to develop custom workflows to accommodate the use in the mixed environment
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s sometimes cumbersome with handling attachments and visualizing the workflow
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It’s part of our IT infrastructure. We do use jira for product management, customer support and IT assets and infrastructure management
Effective Product that could be made a easier to use
What do you like best about the product?
Great ticketing system that helps me keep track of and manage work effectively
What do you dislike about the product?
Find myself and other people saying "JIRA can't do that" quite frequently. Things like templates for different fields. Also make dashboards is very intimidating and I try to avoid it because of that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being a support role, the ticketing system is very effective. Very efficient search function that helps quickly diagnose customer issues that have been seen before..
A full featured project management platform with macro and micro project management tools
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is great at managing tasks as well as subtasks for projects, assigning said tasks and subtasks, and making sure project timelines stay on track. You can also organize comments and files by the task and subtask level which limits confusion and lets assignees have them just in time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the complexity and functionality, it could take some adjusting to get the platform to work for you.

Managing projects and tasks to make sure timelines are met

Take time to set up dashboards for projects to make sure every feature you use is right at your fingertips

I like that you can enter extremely detailed notes into the ticket such as work logged, tags, blocking issues, priority, status, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Links do not open up externally, and the UI is very text-oriented instead of graphic-oriented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to keep track of requests and bugs and communicate with stakeholders.
Jira makes getting team initiatives accomplished much easier
What do you like best about the product?
Like the way you can see who is doing what and what is going on. Also helps folks outside the process view what and where a project they are interested in is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have to do a generic overview of what's going on as licenses are expensive. Would recommend that they offer a "just looking" license for folks who don't really use it but want to see what's going on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Development initiatives get done in 2 week sprints. Very nice that things get done in a timely manner since everyone is on the same page.

Makes many peoples' lives much easier. Getting development stuff done is much easier now.

Costs are growing very fast with every addon and every jump in the user base: 10, 25, 50, 100

Processes, project plannings and sprints are handled with ease.

Powerful and cheap to try out in small Teams this is a must to a least try out. I would never get away from this piece of software.
