Powerful Tool for Task and Bug Tracking

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find Jira to be reliable for tracking tasks, bugs, and project progress, which helps my team stay organized. The Agile boards and clear workflows aid in managing work smoothly. I like how it clearly organizes everything. I also appreciate that it saves so much time by updating tasks or sending alerts automatically. I switched to Jira from Trello because it offers more advanced task tracking. I'd rate Jira a 9 out of 10 because it's very powerful and reliable for team project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Jira feels a bit too complex, and simple tasks can take more clicks than they should. Jira could simplify means, reduce extra clicks, and make workflows easier to setup. Setup was tricky at first but manageable.

Feature-Rich, but Needs Better Team Managed Configuration

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Jira is vast feature-wise and has numerous extensions, which makes it highly functional for my needs. I also get great account and resource management using the Tempo suite. Setting up team-managed projects was a piece of cake.
What do you dislike about the product?
Make team managed projects able to use more of the company managed functionality re access configuration. Team managed are great when starting up but allow too much even though that's probably it's selling point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira gives structure to ideas and objectives, and it offers transparency over budgets, defects, and success metrics. With the Tempo suite, I achieve great account and resource management.

Flexible Workflow Automation and Powerful Collaboration with Jira

  • December 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Jira is its flexibility and robust workflow automation. The platform enables us to tailor boards, issue types, and approval processes to fit our specific internal workflows. Its comprehensive visibility across projects, along with advanced reporting and dashboard capabilities, greatly simplifies tracking work, dependencies, and overall progress. In summary, Jira enhances collaboration and helps maintain accountability throughout our teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I find challenging about Jira is that certain configurations can become quite complex, particularly when handling multiple projects that each have their own workflows. The interface sometimes feels cluttered, and learning some of the more advanced settings can take extra time. Additionally, performance may lag when working with large projects or dashboards that contain a lot of data. Despite these drawbacks, I believe these issues can be managed effectively with the right configuration and governance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira enables us to centralize all our tasks, incidents, and change requests in a single platform, eliminating the need for manual tracking and minimizing communication gaps. It offers clear visibility into ownership, priorities, and timelines, which enhances coordination among teams. The workflow automation ensures that every request goes through the proper approval and audit processes, helping to reduce errors and strengthen compliance. Overall, Jira allows us to manage our work more efficiently, cut down on delays, and maintain reliable tracking for audits and reporting.

Customizable, Integration-Friendly Project Management Powerhouse

  • December 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like using Jira for project management and team collaboration. It's my go-to tool for organizing tasks, tracking progress, and keeping the team synchronized. Jira is a lifesaver because it lets me keep track of multiple tasks and projects in one place, assign tasks to team members, set deadlines, monitor progress, and identify bottlenecks. It also facilitates team communication and collaboration and allows for customizing workflows to fit our team's needs. The customization in Jira is amazing, letting me tailor it to our workflow. The agile project management tools, like sprints and boards, are super handy. I love how it integrates with other tools like Confluence and Bitbucket, making life easier. Plus, the reporting and analytics help me track team performance effectively. Jira is super flexible and scalable, which makes it a perfect fit for teams of all sizes. The initial setup was pretty smooth with great documentation and support, and I was able to import our data and set up workflows and boards with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, Jira's got a lot of power, but sometimes that means it's a bit overwhelming 😅. Couple of things: - Steeper learning curve for new users - Can be slow or claky at times (depends on project size, I guess) - Would love more customization options for dashboards - Sometimes feels like there's too much going on (UI-wise)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira is a lifesaver for me! It keeps track of multiple tasks and projects in one place, assigns tasks, sets deadlines, monitors progress, identifies bottlenecks, facilitates communication, and allows customizable workflows. It's super flexible and scalable for teams of all sizes!

Flexible and Robust, But Steep Learning Curve

  • December 11, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Jira's flexibility and customization options, as I can tailor it to fit my team's workflow, whether we're doing agile, scrum, or kanban. The way Jira handles complex projects by breaking them down into manageable chunks is super helpful. I'm also a big fan of the reporting and analytics features. The integration with other tools like Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack, GitHub, and GitLab makes collaboration so much easier. The automation capabilities are mind-blowing, allowing me to automate repetitive tasks and workflows, which saves time and reduces errors. I also appreciate the mobile app, which keeps me connected on-the-go. Switching from Trello was smooth thanks to Jira's robust import tools. The guided setup process made getting started pretty straightforward, with templates for different methodologies like Scrum or Kanban to choose from.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira's got a bit of a learning curve, right? 🤔 It can be overwhelming for new users, especially if you're not tech-savvy. And sometimes, the UI feels a bit clunky 😐 – like, too many clicks for simple tasks. Pricing can also be steep for smaller teams 😬.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira organizes tasks and keeps teams synchronized, solving chaos by allowing task prioritization, assignment, and progress tracking in one place. Its flexibility in customizing boards and workflows enhances project management and collaboration.
