Versatile Yet Rapidly Evolving
What do you like best about the product?
I like Jira's usability; it's an agile-focused product that allows me to use Canvas boards and all the stuff. Using the Canvas boards is perfect because they let me easily see how much work my team has and the distribution of our team's tasks.

Sometimes things are changing so fast in Jira, and it's harder to find a feature that was located in some place on the screen and suddenly it's not there anymore.

Deeply Customizable Workflows That Fit Our Exact Processes
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is how deeply customizable the workflows are. Whether we’re running a straightforward Kanban board or managing a complex software development lifecycle with multiple approval gates, Jira lets us build a structure that closely aligns with our business processes. Being able to create custom issue types and fields also helps us capture only the information that truly matters, so we’re not forced to track details that don’t apply to our team or the way we work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform has a very steep learning curve, especially for non-technical users. The interface can feel overwhelming at first, and onboarding new team members often takes longer than it does with simpler tools like Trello or Asana. At times, it even feels like you need dedicated training just to understand how to navigate the different board types, settings, and workflows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There’s often a noticeable disconnect between our high-level product roadmap and the day-to-day reality of handling bug fixes and managing the technical debt our engineering team has to contend with.
Empowers Project Management with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
I like almost everything about Jira. I find the flexible workflows very appealing because we can design our own workflows easily as per our needs. The clear and transparent picture of project progress is helpful as project progress can be easily tracked with a timeline and the stage of completion with reports. Bug tracking and handling are simple since bug logging is straightforward, and it gets assigned to the responsible team member. Overall, it's simple to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There’s not much to dislike so far. It is doing its job pretty well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira manages the full project lifecycle, making task assignment and tracking easier. It enhances team management and handles project deadlines. Bug tracking is simple, with bugs assigned to responsible members. I appreciate the flexible workflows and clear project progress tracking with reports. It is time savvy on a day-to-day basis.
Consistent Jira Workflows That Speed Up Request Handling.
What do you like best about the product?
Using Jira will allow us to have a consistent workflow within our team. It is essential since I need every request that is made from the team to go through the same process, which will help me deal with all the issues much faster. In this way, I will know better how to do my job and handle different kinds of requests efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
On some occasions, I may face an issue in which too many workflow stages might slow down the performance of tasks that would otherwise be done much faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The use of Jira will give us an opportunity to create a standard workflow, where we will make sure that all our tasks will be created and executed following certain rules and procedures. This approach will allow us to follow a set procedure.
Jira Brings Clarity, Discipline, and a Reliable Source of Truth
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Jira is the level of clarity it forces into your work. It doesn’t let tasks stay vague, you have to break things down, define ownership, and think in terms of progress, which actually improves how you approach problems, not just how you track them. Over time, it builds a kind of discipline in the way work is planned and executed. Within the Atlassian ecosystem, it also becomes a reliable source of truth, less about “where is this task?” and more about “everything is exactly where it should be,” which quietly reduces mental clutter.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don’t like about Jira is that it can sometimes feel like I’m spending more time managing the tool than doing the actual work. The constant need to update statuses, add details, and keep everything perfectly structured can make simple tasks feel heavier than they really are.
That said, I don’t see this as a fault of the application itself. It feels more like a need to refine the use-case scenario and how the workflow is set up, so the process supports the work instead of adding extra overhead.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira solves the problem of unstructured and invisible work, where tasks get lost in chats, responsibilities are unclear, and progress is hard to track. It brings visibility by turning work into clearly defined items with owners, timelines, and status, so nothing slips through the cracks. It also creates accountability and a shared understanding within teams, especially in fast-moving environments. For me, this means less confusion, fewer follow-ups, and a clearer sense of direction, I always know what needs to be done, what’s in progress, and what’s blocked, without relying on constant communication.
