Effective project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
As a contract copywriter working for a client that uses JIRA, I find it to be extremely helpful in keeping track of the status of multiple projects. It's easy to loop others in and to add documents and links to each project card.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downside is when everyone on the team doesn't participate!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A company with many projects and multiple project managers can quickly get overwhelmed and confused. JIRA keeps everyone on track and on the same page.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
As with all project management software, be patient, and don't be afraid to try a few things to make it work for your organization. Full participation by the team is key.
Great Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way JIRA is organized. It is very user friendly and easy to manage projects. I also love the visibility all team members get on upcoming projects and project status.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how it is difficult to find a list of completed projects. It is not readily available, you kind of have to dig for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the need to have a project manager on our team to track projects.
Jira Review
What do you like best about the product?
The active sprint option to look at all the user stories in the current sprint is really good. It shows a scrum board like :
To do, Development, S, Testing Done and cancelled user stories.
To do, Development, S, Testing Done and cancelled user stories.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a not a lot of reporting options on JIRA. It would be really helpful to have a robust reporting functionality so that other executives would be able to see those reports and would'nt have to login into the system
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I currently work in Marketing team and work with IT resources defining development work on the website and other feature like landing pages, Online enrollment flow, CRM intergration, Marketing automation integration and connections to our reporting tools. JIRa helps us write user stories and also check the status of those user stories in the current sprint or if it planned for future sprints. It also gives an historical view of the items cancelled or solved in the past.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
JIRA's interface is really inituitive and I really like the drag and drop feature which makes starting, planning and closing sprints really easy.
Trouble shooting Customized
What do you like best about the product?
Using Jira helps our teams to keep track of issues that arise within our other systems. It helps teams to route tickets to groups that can help resolve those issues. We can customize our forms to be more accurate for the teams and the types of requests that they handle, It is a very helpful tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Once a form has been created, it is difficult to change. It can cause some delays in getting the request completed because it's not a simple add or delete.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving technical issues, we are coordinating teams from different areas more easily that have work on specific types of orders that are being placed. Jira provides a place for us to track work for teams that otherwise wouldn't be working out of systems.
Horrible and slow
What do you like best about the product?
Not much. I do like some of the reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost everything. It is slow, tedious, and lacks a good UX. Also too narrowly focused on only supporting engineers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Software development managing and tracking.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don’t do it!
Powerful SCRUM Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love JIRA's ability to integrate with other platform such as Slack.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setup of JIRA can be tedious (but is necessary to properly use).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to solve software development project tracking.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need a comprehensive incident tracking system few better systems than JIRA.
Review of JIRA
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is very easy to use and new users can also start using the tool without much training, collaboration features using confluence, the application is very fast and user friendly as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although JIRA is a good tool for scrum projects it does not have good out of the box reporting options at multiple levels. In our organization we had to work with the Admin to integrate JIRA with third party tools just for reporting. Even though we did that we still had limitations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using JIRA to manage, track and run all of our agile projects. From a benefits perspective, we have used the tool effectively to increase collaboration amongst the team members and implement the agile process efficiently as well.

With the organizational structure of JIRA, projects can be tracked, updated and competed with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the interface is outdated and could use a facelift.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA provides the benefit of seeing every single component of a project, all at once.
Couldn't do without it!
What do you like best about the product?
The predictive tagging in comments, the email notifications for comments, the ease of use in general.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the process of tracking down an old ticket can be tricky using the search function if unable to remember the name of the ticket.

Solving user bugs/issues across all of the products and websites our company offers, creating designs for customer products, and developing new features which improve user experience and also make administration / analysis tasks much easier for staff.
