Great way to track tasks throughout the company
What do you like best about the product?
I like that different projects can be created throughout the organization and it is easy to track issues/inquiries.
What do you dislike about the product?
I was that searching for tickets was easier, and that there was more of a guide on how to create saved searches for specific criteria

Attribution enhancement, client issues, API calls

What do you like best about the product?
Is a great tool to manage Projects working with agile methodology. I like it specially because JIRA allows us manage tasks within my work team and collaborate with my colleagues using notifications and workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Searching tasks/issues is not fast enough and it's frustrating sometimes. Advanced search is not very intuitive either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA allows us to plan sprints by creating user stories and tasks and distributing them among working members. In the middle of a sprint thanks to JIRA, we can have a clear vision of where we are and how the development of the sprint is going.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you work with agile methodology, it is an excellent tool. Although at the beginning it can be something complicated to use, once you have experience with JIRA, you can even learn from it. It is very valid to work with complex projects and there is a great ecosystem of plugins as well.
On the other hand, if your project is simple, and if you do not even use agile methodology, you may be interested in exploring other options that are especially free, you may also find very competent tools.

Old fashion look at the time it was being used.

What do you like best about the product?
JIRA has great customization options, so you can easily set up your workflows, case types, boards, etc. to match and support what you're doing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search/filters could be better - you can't use certain fields within the advanced search/filter tool and they're often the exact ones you need. As projects scale, search becomes more and more critical, so it would be great to have the power turned up a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using it to support multiple Agile teams, who all have different workflows and processes. It works great because of it's high level of customization.

What do you like best about the product?
This software is great for issue tracking and project management. Also the users can be log project spending time on their timesheet, and the manager can easy monitoring project cost and benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user can not request to involve on additional project until the project manager has assign manually.

Accelerate time to full productivity and engagement. Reduce company department cost.

Amazing tool to keep track of project development and QA in software deliverables
What do you like best about the product?
The easy way to work with Jira and also that you can configure the right approval workflows you need for each task or ticket to be closed or finished, also the dashboard gives you plenty of information on what are you achieving and getting delayed.
What do you dislike about the product?
the configuration process for an ad-hoc solution could be a little complicated also to enable a Jira server.

Jira can handle any facet of PM with ease, from large to small.

There is a large learning curve to become a comfortable power user.

Used mainly for software/system implementations. When I first came in as a new user that was viewing someone else's project, everything was clear and easy to understand.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is a big learning curve to get really comfortable with JIRA. Take some time and map out what your project will require and familiarize yourself with the functionality.

Best to be used as a kanban board. Tracking bugs and story management is pretty effective.

It’s user friendly and easy to navigate, even with little prior experience.

I found it didn’t integrate as easily as other tools can/do.
