Great Software to Track issues from start to finish

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can easily track an issue from the time it is put into the system until it is resolved. Many different features to track severity, time spent developing, linking to other problems and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the search function. It used to be better but after recent upgrades I think it performs more poorly. It also doesn’t account for users trying to put in a new issue where that issue already exists, should be a prompt asking if related Jiras are what you are entering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of tracking issues or enhancements in our software. We are linking those issues together to be able to tackle them together. This has been instrumental in the development of our software and serving our customers needs.

Great Communication Platform

What do you like best about the product?
I use Jira for communication around issues/bugs we are seeing and big promotional events we are launching. It's a helpful platform to include only those who need to be on the communication, it's intuitive, and clear how to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Password updates can be a little tricky. I think there could be an easier way to follow-up with the folks working on the issues rather than having to right a follow-up note.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bug tracking & setting up specific products/percent offs for promotional merchandise events.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes, it's a great platform to communicate bug issues and to set up promotional events.

What do you like best about the product?
Massive capacity for complexity and technicality
What do you dislike about the product?
Can be cumbersome and overly complex for your average project management functions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Implemented to handle BI functions but phased out in favor of a simpler tool
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jira will be a great tool for your software dev group if you are willing to invest a good deal of time in managing the tool

Easy to use and understand

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Jira is easy to understand. You don’t have to be super technical to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren’t really too many things that I dislike about it. I do have to get use to the new features they just added though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping up with sprint work. Jira has helped me to realize that sometimes we need to plan better for sprints.

What do you like best about the product?
Smoother to move projects along the Knaban than working a traditional whiteboard. Easier to see twhere my colleagues are in their work.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit clunky to set up/change the steps your group has for the project progression.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We track progress on some of our projects.

What do you like best about the product?
User Interface to allow the issues to be assigned to the right resource and to be able to track the status per sprint
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of ability to create test cases and traceability to the requirements.

Centralized repository for project defects and deliverables.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to track and generate tasks and see who they are assigned to. It has a great framework, especially for an AGILE environment. The most useful aspect for me is being able to relate one task/issue to another and have certain types of issues auto-generate other issues. So when an ENG task is created that affects me, a task is automatically generated and assigned to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot within the program and sometimes the terms can become confusing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use JIRA to track current and upcoming work within each department and use that information to plan project timelines.

Minimalistic Yet Robust Platform for Ticketing System

What do you like best about the product?
The integration it has with Confluence and the ability to navigate between the two with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I currently dislike or find wrong with the system, but my team can certainly code our platform better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it as a ticketing system for our helpdesk/IT portal for all end users. After previously using sfdc as a ticketing system, this is much nicer to work with and we're able to communicate with our end users very easily.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider setting time aside to be able to code your helpdesk properly

What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity and the easiness makes this bug tracking software one of the favorite app for most of the agile teams
What do you dislike about the product?
Some more advanced features can be added to it

bug tracking between client testing team and dev team has always been easy and in sync because of this app

What do you like best about the product?
The keyboard shortcuts in JIRA really help to speed up my workflow along with the team's workflow. Whether we're making changes to a ticket or grooming tickets, these shortcuts help to speed things up!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that JIRA was a bit more responsive. I work off of a laptop screen and am constantly resizing my webpage so JIRA sometimes gets cut off if my page is too small.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA allows the entire company to manage our projects and tasks.
