Great for ticketing and project tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to move tickets around from team to team depending on in coming tickets. I also really like the project tracking and sub projects to the epic. This makes it easy to show your tasks and when they are completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when the make changes to the UI they are big changes and it can take a bit to get used to
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed an all in one ticketing and project management tool to keep our teams working towards the same goal and keeping everyone on track. Jira has completed that task and we have really like it so far.
Good organization tool for scrum
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the layout for the status of current tasks in a sprint. It provides good visibility on how tasks are progressing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like finding issues that are already closed is a little difficult and could be managed better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our scrum process is greatly improved and stakeholders can see the status of all the tasks that they are requesting, which provides good visibility into the sprint.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It takes some time to get used to its special query language, but once you do, things get much smoother rather than doing simple searches.
Extremely useful project management and tech ticketing/bug tracking tool
What do you like best about the product?
Of all the tools I’ve used working with different partners, Jira is by far my favourite and would be my first choice. The way you log tickets, keep track of them, upload files and screenshots, link to them, user comments, status changes and priority, etc. make it extremely robust. It keeps project management organized and on track no matter how large scale the project is.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really to mention on Jiras end but I do dislike if I had to work on a project that didn’t use Jira. Luckily my company uses it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Can be used for any industry or project, but I think it is strongest when used for digital/technical projects like website development, new product coding, software engineering, etc. It will solve issues related to late delivery, over budget, launching projects with bugs, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you’re looking for the most user friendly UI for users of all levels of experience then Jira is a best fit.
Perfect choice for task tracking
What do you like best about the product?
I like the kanban board that helps to organize tasks in order to track the status during the iteration as well as cleat structured types of tasks that can be assigned.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I need some advanced filters to build pivot tables and analyze the project status
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem, I can solve with Jira is making the process transparent in order to calculate the capacity/velocity and make performance forecasts. I would definitely prefer Jira among any other task tracking tools because of the user-friendly interface and reach functionality.

Very convenient tool that is worthy to try

Able to easily work with people in different offices to solve problems by sharing links, answering messages, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
It isn't the most user-friendly for a beginner. If someone starts on their own without any assistance, it can be confusing at times

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that all of my development requirements, conversations and overall history are organized in a single location.
What do you dislike about the product?
All of the features that I disliked have been reworked/resolves. I don’t have any negative comments that currently come to mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All development tasks, be it a new feature, a bug or a random request from a client are managed within JIRA. Everything comes through JIRA. The biggest benefit is the ease of communication between the business and development teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This has been the standard in both industries in which I’ve worked. I’ve had to consider looking elsewhere to manage my development tasks.
Good tool for managing a large number of technical issues
What do you like best about the product?
Issue management and assignment is easy and there is a trail for each issue through resolution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on the number of issues there are a lot of email alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use JIRA with both our website implementation vendor and our translation vendor to track and manage technical issues. It's a good tool for end-to-end issue tracking.

This company provides good products for collaboration and issue tracking.

Search is buggy and the defect management could be better.

Time tracking, task planning and bug resolution

What do you like best about the product?
I like how customizable we have made our flow through Jira, from users submitting tickets to making a quick close option for the easier tickets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the mobile app, I feel it is missing a lot of functionality that the desktop site has. If they could add a few more options to what the app does it will make it a complete solution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to make a good ticketing solution that can pass tickets between teams and have an easy portal for our employees to submit their problems/questions. After we implemented this solution we found a lot of our tickets were completed much quicker than they were previously.

If you want a customizable ticketing solution for tracking projects or user issues this is a great and easy product to use.
Good Project Tracking tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's a good planning, tracking tool for managing project as well as software development.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not easy and flexible to create customized reports .
