Great tool for Segmenting Projects
What do you like best about the product?
Jira is an excellent tool for managing and segmenting projects. It offers simple logging and tracking of all issues/tasks. Its an excellent tool for both Agile and Waterfall development models.Jira offers comprehensive dashboards for efficient tracking and status reporting. All the issues can be monitored based on the status, criticality, phase, assignee, reporter, etc. The assignee and comments feature is very helpful too. I also like how it integrates with different tools we use at work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs to offer more detailed reporting
Search feature needs to be improved

Excellent tool for campaign management
What do you like best about the product?
It provided us with accurate KPIs to comply with SLAs with our customers, real time information, flexibility to adapt to our customers' requests, and the most important, we've got happy customers. The dashboard is very useful for our technical s
What do you dislike about the product?
I am missing more control about some configuration options, and obviously over our data. I would suggest to provide better and more opened tools just for backup and restoration of the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
track issues and defects for software/frontend developers
Jira for Agile methodology
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA can be used as an e2e project management software and track e2e lifecycle of a project adopting to scrum and kanban
What do you dislike about the product?
its ui is not very user friendly and is bit difficult to setup
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Userstory and Defect tracking
JIRA is an amazing issue tracking tool and can't imaging doing my job without it
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that JIRA can be used with a lot of users without performance complications. The API that JIRA provides is also very good, and can be incorporated into a lot of areas that I like to see metrics. For example, I was working with my team and we wanted to see how many hours we estimated tasks to be and how many hours we actually worked for the previous few weeks and it only takes a simple JQL query to accomplish this.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that JIRA is somewhat closed in terms of certain features, linking and moving tasks and stories is a bit more complicated than it needs to be. For example, if you have a story that you want to change the tasks on you have to batch move them (which masks sense) but then all of the tasks lose some of their metadata values like the fix version or sprint values.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA has made myself and other team members much more efficient than we were using our previous product, which also did not integrate within our other products as well. JIRA has made everyone more streamlined and we believe that using other Atlassian products in conjunction with JIRA is the way we're going to go forward for the next coming years.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend to those considering switching to JIRA to take a look at some of Atlassian's other products because I believe that JIRA along side other products works very well.
JIRA is fabulous for managing Agile projects
What do you like best about the product?
Capability to customize issue types and fields
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to scale effectively with SAFe
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use JIRA to track the latest status of stories/defects our team is working on. With JIRA we are able to rely much less on status updates and more on the dashboarding functionality.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are going through Agile transformation, definitely choose JIRA over other products. It has so many integration options to easily satisfy your requirements!
Good but could use some improvements
What do you like best about the product?
Initiatively simple interface, easy search/querying
What do you dislike about the product?
Often gets slow or freezing. My "in progress" items are showing as "backlog" and there's no clear way to change this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Distributing and tracking work of all members on the team such as product, development, test, etc;
Bug tracking problems.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think it's a good product for an agile team. I'd recommend Jira.
JIRA Almost Everything
What do you like best about the product?
The tracking. I like the traceability, the set up of Epic to Story to sub-task
What do you dislike about the product?
the add-ons are too expensive
complexity, there's a big ramp up time and large learning curve

intern office information
What do you like best about the product?
easy to share intern office information and work procedures for new members of the office
What do you dislike about the product?
the search is not always finding what i am looking for
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
to hand offer knowledge without explaining it to everyone individualy
Recommendations to others considering the product:
if u want to spare time to explain every matter of the office again to someone new, use this tool to safe the information and make it available for every member of the office
Most effective enforcer for an efficient project management
What do you like best about the product?
Uber cool tool to enable quick resolution of an issue within a team. Its application further increases when used in an agile methodology.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initial setup is the most challenging aspect of Jira operation. It would help if templates are made available for instant initiation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Jira, task tracking was laborious and usually there used to be an information gap between the Product manager / Business unit. Jira really helped in bridging this gap. Also, it gives individual responsibility which even enhances the effectiveness of operation
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easily the best tool out there to manage the product
Oh, Jira, I can't quit you!
What do you like best about the product?
What don't I like? I love the flexibility, the ability to create templates, the multiple workflows...honestly, I am pretty sure we could run the country on Jira.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's challenging to add new modules. Learning JQL can be a steep learning curve. But, honestly, my biggest gripe tends to be with add-on modules, not the core Jira product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to manage our agile teams, our helpdesk and all product management tasks.
