Great ticket system
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to keep tabs on an open ticket and see status of the ticker
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything I dislike about JIRA except finding a similar issue could be easier to navigate
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Claims, sales, and policy discrepancies or requests
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great system to use to keep track. Notification system using email is great.
Integration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I used when I was working with the team of 6. And this helped us a lot by saving the time of manual checks.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike but I wish if it could be some faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Code merge, integration, rollback etc.
great for development tracking, not so much for Product Management
What do you like best about the product?
Jira has a rich feature set for Agile and Waterfall development methodologies. It does a great job of organizing engineering tickets and tracking time spent on tickets. I like the Kanban boards for visualizing the process of a project and the general workload. It's also great how customizable the product is to your company's workflow, though as I mention in another section, this is sometimes difficult to do. Finally, it's great that it integrates with Confluence, another Atlassian tool used for documentation and specifications that I very much enjoy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think it does a great job of catering to the needs of a Product Manager, who has a different flow and process than the Engineering team, including idea gathering and prioritization. However, we still use it to track all of our ideas and potential projects, we just have to work around its shortcomings. We have recently moved some of our PM tasks away from Jira for a more fluid collaborative environment.
Also, customization is fairly complicated for a non-specialized manager. My company is small and doesn't have a dedicated and experienced person in charge of configuring JIra. So when I have to make a change, it is a huge hassle and I'm always afraid that I will screw up another team's workflow and tickets. Perhaps that's a necessary downside of being highly customizable or maybe there's a better way, I can't say for sure.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company tracks all of our engineering projects within Jira. We manage upcoming projects and bugs within separate boards. We find that it does a great job of helping us organize our projects, smaller enhancements, and bugs. We also make extensive use of the integration with Confluence, which we use to write product and engineering requirements, write down feedback, and keep a history of discussion around a project.
Solid, but very bloated enterprise software
What do you like best about the product?
It has all the needed features for sprint management
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything is equally difficult to do because of the number of features all given relatively equal precedence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing our agile sprints and different scrum teams.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
JIRA is very much enterprise and is useful for very large companies. If you're a smaller company with only a couple teams or even only one team I would recommend looking for a much more lightweight sprint tracking software. But, if you do have a lot of teams, JIRA can give you some good metrics and inter-team communication systems.
Great workflow tool for collaborative environment
What do you like best about the product?
The tool allows you to create dashboards according to your execution methodology, in my case that's Agile, and is very helpful because you are able to manage tickets, sprints, get reports. In summary this tool makes your day-to-day operation less painful. Another good aspect of this tool is that you can setup workflows, so when working with multiple teams, a ticket can be transferred over teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not seen any good tools for interfacing Jira with another tools, in my case I still need to track projects using Gannt Charts for corporate reports, and I have not found any good plugin to solve this pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps me drive daily operations with my Agile Team. Besides from that it is also a good tool for keeping record of everything that happens on tickets/projects due to collaborative capabilities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to provide plugins for project management tools (smartsheet or ms proejct).
Helps track projects
What do you like best about the product?
Brilliant tool when various stakeholders are involved. Very easy to setup and manage. Add watcher option is really good.
What do you dislike about the product?
No function to export all projects by team
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Production related mainly.
Benefits: better than google sheets to track project status when various stakeholders are involved.

Jira: the ultimate software project management tool
What do you like best about the product?
Atlassian Jira is the ultimate software project management tool. I really like the ability to customize your team workflows and make restrictions that makes every jira project acting totally different than the rest. It easily captures and enforce the team process and rules.
What do you dislike about the product?
The increasing number of features make it confusing and somehow harder to follow
