What do you like best about the product?
Jira has many cool features. I especially like that ability to setup range of difficulty for projects and attribute a cost to different projects and tasks. Great for people who have been trained in Kanban methodology.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I dislike Jira but I would say it has a learning curve and requires some experience to setup and take advantage of all it has to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have several business lines and each business line has more than 5 projects going on at one time. Jira allows us to organize those projects and tasks in various ways such as, due date, level of complexity, etc.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Jira is great for people who are familiar with Toyota's Kanban methodology of project management.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it's easy to keep each project organized on a separate thread.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that it is an additional portal that I have to keep track of in addition to email

Organization. Communication between departments. Keeping jobs on task and all watchers up to date without blowing up an inbox.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that JIRA makes it easy to record input from multiple team members, spread across the globe.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't seen an easy way to create a product roadmap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA works well within our agile environment.

What do you like best about the product?
i like that you can implement the agile philosophy using this tool. it has everything you need like sprints story mapping etc
What do you dislike about the product?
the fact that the cloud version is limited on what plugins you can put. we often needed new functionality which existed in a plugin(which we could buy) but it was for the server version and not cloud. the cloud should be more flexible to accomodate all plugins
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the company i work for is implementing the agile methodology with the teams scrum masters product owners etc. we use it as the main tool for stories-tasks-sprints etc
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it is the leading market tool so it will be easier to find people who already know it and you dont need to train them to use it

What do you like best about the product?
I like the kanban view that allows you to drag and drop cards into different columns based on status. This allows us to manage many projects simultaneously and quickly understand where everything is!
What do you dislike about the product?
Like any product, it requires buy-in from the users. If everyone is not using it in the same way to track time, comments, tagging, etc - then it is not as effective
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage multiple website development projects simultaneously with an outside consulting form
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a really nice tool - I would definitely recommend it for multiple project management. Just make sure to get everyone to buy-in and use the product to its fullest postential

Jira when use as intended is great. It is easy and provides the data needed.

Jira is meant to be used 1 way only. When it is outside that box data is limited.

What do you like best about the product?
*Functionality The best feature of Jira is a huge number of integrations, massive amount of possibilities, statistics and tricks that you can you inside the platform. There is an integrated tracking, kanbans, lists, sorting direct contact with chat (stride) and feature to work with git right from every task or issue. * New UI Recently Jira got an update, a new chat (Stride, instead of Hipchat) and a new UI for the tasks. I can see that company goes in the right direction to adopt all of it's powers. *Customization Jira, being confusing at first hides a lot of it's features inside most of which you can change and adjust to your business needs. It is a great solution for a big corporation with dozens of departments, hundreds of employees and thousands of issues and tasks daily. However, in all other cases Jira can be a nightmare at this point.
What do you dislike about the product?
*Slow Out off all CRM platforms and tools to handle tasks and issues Jira is the slowest by far. Is it initial problem or has it appeared after adopting so many technologies under one roof - I can't be sure. But one thing is clear - Jira is awfully slow. *To many features Yes, it is a disadvantage when it comes to Jira. When a new customer comes to Jira I believe, he is most definitely confused. Especially, if he/she tried ANYTHING else before. Of course, I see that company does a lot to make it easier and more comfortable, but as it is now, Jira is a terrible solution for fast adoption, scary for a small or middle sized team and most definitely not a great choice for personal use. Jira is Huge. If you are huge - great features, customizing, different apps and plugins will help you solve a lot with Jira. If you are just starting or don't have that many tasks and issues and people in your company - you should probable check other options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my projects I use Jira for complex workflows and tasks that require utmost work and scheduling.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
*Make it easier to use (simplified UI approach is needed)
*It is too slow for task creation
*Better work with lists

What do you like best about the product?
easy bug reporting and bugs tracking within your team for any project. project management and task allocation also be done.
What do you dislike about the product?
many other functionality like project and bug analysis can be added

reporting bugs from testing team and tracking bugs from development team. task allocation daily work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
After daily scrum meeting leader can assign every task to other team member. testing team can report bugs and keep track on that.

What do you like best about the product?
It keeps record of the tasks assigned and the progress of the tasks. Helps in managing roles of the task. Also helps in managing the bugs. Team members can collaborate easily. It makes track the progress of the tasks. It helps in prediction of the completion.
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting up JIRA is a task. Getting used to it requires a lot of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management. Issue management . Streamlined business is a major benefit .

Follow the new user guide before using it . And also follow the blogs from Jira.
