Great way for support team to escalate bugs to engineering
What do you like best about the product?
It's a concise way to communicate bugs to devs. You can upload customer info with a few clicks, and attach any necessary files needed in the bug report.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit confusing finding old tickets, assigned ticket, etc. The overall interface could use some help to make it more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Escalating bug reports or feature requests to dev, either directly from a customer's experience or my own.

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Jira for about a year now. Its easy to manage. Its a great place for me and team to keep track of everything. I like the different features included with it
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that its always so hard to locate a jira ticket within the search field. I wish there were a different kind of layout.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving bugs and tracking issues. Definitely helps out.

JIRA is great at keeping things organized within a project. Its also great when multiple departments are collaborating

the search feature is difficult to use. Without a link to the ticket its hard finding it in rhe system.

What do you like best about the product?
The most powerful aspect of Jira, for me, is the ability to personalize the process and the different step.
And in the same way to personalize the different fields that we can set in the tickets. In my job, I share Jira tickets with many people, so it is really important that the process is well established, so we can all work well

What do you dislike about the product?
In the other hand, the modification of actual process on Jira is quite complex, because we have to deal with different authorizations and also, as every part of tickets are links via each other throught rules or process, it take a long time and reflexion to modification what already exists
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem that we are solving are the reactivity time to deal with customers needs.
With Jira, we have the possibility to do it quickly and to keep an eye on every case not close yet, with the differents boards we have configured

Recommendations to others considering the product:
An easy tool to to your job in a more organize way. It can be a little complex to configure at first, but it worth the time after that.
Awesome agile planning & task management
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboards to build charts / graphs, integration with BitBucket, and task management tools for agile methodology make Jira perfect to organize sprints on all levels.
What do you dislike about the product?
Permission management and assigning tasks can be difficult / confusing, but over all Jira is a very well built tool.

Agile management & project planning with sprints, stories / tasks, and issue tracking.
Must Have for Agile Working Methodology
What do you like best about the product?
Best features are that one can create the building blocks of Agile project method like Initiative, feature, Epic and Stories etc. And later connect them logically in order to represent the end to end traceability matrix for any piece of work. Its foundation into thre cloud makes it more reliable for the organisation.
What do you dislike about the product?
This tool can be sluggish at times.
Cannot move the stories in the prior swimlanes, this makes any errors difficult to recover.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working for an organisation which breathes Agile and lives Agile. Every piece of work is tracked at an enterprise level through JIRA. Its a great tool in terms of managing a scrum or kanban team. It is being used for tracking new changes and also in the run shop by support team to manage issues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try to include Jira in every part of business to.meet the agile goals. Its has great use in operations and also great for executive level reporting of IT changes.

Easy to setup & customize reports with little training needed. Good documentation online

User interface is less pretty and licenses getting more expensive

replaced Excel in tracking of issues in a single web interface, enhance team collaboration

Jira has an amazing user experience. Emailing was flawless and collaboration internally on a ticker was seemless. Personally, having used Salesforce, JIRA and Oracle for the Helpdesk, JIRA has been my favorite as a user.
Additionally, being able to add labels allow one to easily create dashboards and find old tickets easily.

What do you dislike about the product?
Pulling data and recording isn’t always seemless. It was difficult to configure the account to how we wanted to set it up to pull data. Other systems are better at data analysis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA has allowed our company to collaborate effectively unlike with other ticketing systems like oracle where you can’t tag other users and have them be notified.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Difficult to pull data but it’s perfect for tracking issues, collaborating internally and emailing customers.
