Great for keeping team on the same page.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to assist with the forward momentum of a story. It enables team members who aren't as involved with the day to day activities to still stay up to speed regardless of their limited interaction with the entirety of the project in all of its nuances.
What do you dislike about the product?
Problems can arise; however, if the Project Manager gets off track and no one is able to rein them in. Time can be wasted trying to get back on track.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use JIRA in most of our long-term projects with great success. For the most part, the stories created all lead to the logical conclusion with less overall effort on an individual basis - it enables an easier environment for team cohesiveness.

Task/project tracker. Able to track tasks

Depending on how it's set up, the boards can work very differently, it's not necessarily a bad thing, but can get confusing. I suppose that is a set up issue and not so much an issue with JIRA. It's nice to be flexible with the product and users.
