Powerful
What do you like best about the product?
Jira allows to create a handful of tools yo work with. Reports, helpdesk management, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Configuring from 0 its hard, but totally worth It when its fully configures.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Control of Helpdesk tickets. Allows for a crear variety if reports and filters.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a recommended aplication, but requires configuration
Effective
What do you like best about the product?
Clean interface, easy organization of projects and ordering by priority.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customizability of alerts by keyword would be a nice feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used for managing our backlog, prioritization and managing releases
So customizable
What do you like best about the product?
You can customize so much with Jira. Dashboards, assignments, and even naming the steps and processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
When there are issues, it holds everyone up. Email notifications aren't even sent
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workflow management. It's been easier ever to run reports and find areas we can improve internally. We can ask why someone had a task for an excessive amount of time and either coach or train that person, or we can figure out what roadblocks they may be facing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to learn as much as you can early on. It saves asking questions or stumbling through it later.
Jira is good for ticket management
What do you like best about the product?
drag and drop ability is super great, and easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
it is quite difficult to have good visibility
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
prioritizing tickets to be worked on
Works really well for our team
What do you like best about the product?
JIRA out of the box is a pretty good solution, but the ability to customize process/categories/labels/etc across projects makes it flexible for any size organization. Without that flexibility, we'd be in rough shape.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was more granularity in some of the notification settings. I also have clicked user avatars at least once a week for years thinking it would bring me to the user's profile page; it doesn't in some places, it does in others. Consistency would be nice there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to better manage our projects long term and are working towards stricter agile methodology which we'd struggle to do without a central solution to organize the tasks we share.
I discovered JIRA recently and it's great
What do you like best about the product?
Previously I worked in a stratup where we needed to create tickets since the communication part between the customer service and repair departments was not very fluid. We had many problems and we had not found the right tool.
I changed my company, and they showed me JIRA and I think it's one of the best ticket management tools out there.

What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most is that there is no free version (even with fewer features).
Sometimes it is very complicated to find according to what functionalities.
Sometimes it is very complicated to find according to what functionalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Above all, the communication between departments is great.
Sometimes, from other departments they ask us for some things, and for time we can not do them instantly and finally we end up forgetting.
With JIRA, you can tell that person to believe you one, assign it to you and when you can see it, I'm sure you do not forget it because it stays in the BOARD.

Jira
What do you like best about the product?
We use jira on a daily basis and it fulfills the needs we expect for organizing and managing tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some aspects of the program can be cluttered
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time management and capacity.
Essential for teams
What do you like best about the product?
It is an app that will organize your team's workflow by separating tasks and adding tags and levels of completion to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a bit of getting used to. It is better taught through a course.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team and milestone organization.
Jira has a lot of options for various team types as long as you can find them
What do you like best about the product?
Workflows are very customizable so you can have several projects doing very specific things for tasks so that all teams can work the way they want. The safeguards in place to protect a sprint can get annoying at first, but as we go into development, we see the value of them more clearly so we can have our teams stay on track with their tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Feature improvements, even if there are a high number of votes aren't considered. Other issues with less votes make it in, so there isn't any consistency on how things are chosen to be worked on. It would be better if there was a clearer way to know how suggestions turn into actually features in the product. I've stopped suggesting things as I seen issues parked for many years with no comments from the admins.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Main purpose is to keep our projects running on time and making sure the work completed is accurate. Keeping all the information in the tickets and updating as we go along has kept everyone involved up-to-date. Estimating and tracking hours have helped us better plan for future work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you play around with the demo and try it out on your team for a sprint or two. Also reminder that you can customize it quite a bit. It does take some time to understand how to customize the system to your specific needs.
Work better with Jira
What do you like best about the product?
It is really easy to use. You can share different types of documents, links, etc. You can keep track of everything you worked on. It easy to classify the different tickets by your different projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be interesting to be able to assign multiple team members in the ticket. You might lost track of a project if you are only tagged in a comment. At first, it's not that easy to use and it's long to know where is everything you could need. I persionnaly needed a little training from my cowokers. There are a lot of options and fonctionnality and I don't really know yet how to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keep track of projects with all the different teams.
