Ok to use Product Managment software

What do you like best about the product?
It works. It has story points and burn down charts to help keep track of team progrss. Works in china too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s superrr slow. Like almost unusably slow. If it weren’t for the burndown charts I would switch my team over to trello. It just takes so long to set up a sprint compared to any other software i’ve used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Product management and running sprints. It tracks team progression towards goal pretty well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It has all the bells and whistles you expect in a AAA pm tool, just has a bit of a learning curve and really slow to use.

too many menu items at top of the screen
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sorting & prioritizing multiple site visits is a key feature of JIRA. Live display of info cuts down on multiple touchpoints with peers and makes your day go smoother
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It has a lot of features and it requires a tour from an experienced user to familiarize yourself with it

What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can configure things like workflow and status.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the test case tools would allow for easier import of test cases from other tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking defects that we create in HPQC.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease with which it can interact with time tracking softwares and agile methodologies. It makes managing sprints easier by using labels etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fields required can be a little cryptic and lack of help tools to understand them. The search functionality could be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps make project management easy with labels etc.

Essential tool when you need a structured workflow

What do you like best about the product?
In a single tool, you can extract data, reports, and project graphs that you need, in addition to being able to manage multiple projects in the same tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the time I've been working with this tool, I haven't found anything I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a web tool, so it is not necessary to have any application installed. It allows many users to use it at the same time. It is possible to perform an infinite number of queries, save them, and let other users use them. Additionally, it allows attaching files, creating predefined templates, and most importantly, structuring tasks to streamline work using a previously customized workflow.

Life has improved since we got JIRA.

What do you like best about the product?
Things have definitely improved in our office since we got JIRA versus doing things via email chains.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were a way to put projects "on hold". Sometimes, we are waiting on something beyond our control as analyst and project manager (e.g. waiting on new data to come in from the lab). Right now, we have to either leave the ticket fully open or close it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JIRA allows us to track from getting the data out of the lab to delivering it to the customer. We also use it for internal benchmarking and QC projects.

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to setup based on type of request.
Ability to tag people
Ability to Watch tickets
Ability to add files
What do you dislike about the product?
Filtering is a bit limited for example quick filters for "Open Issues by me, or including me"..
It would be nice to be able to copy/paste images rather than upload them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing Tech issues.
It's a great platform for us to track and solve issues, and keep everyone in the loop.

What do you like best about the product?
My team uses JIRA to submit ticket requests to our Data Engineering team for process. The tool is easy to use and enables us to track jobs from start to finish, in additional to providing valuable management reports, that measure and manage productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike. We are fairly new to JIRA and like anything else, there is a learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving to JIRA, has consolidated disparate management systems from various parts of our system, to a single request management system, that provided much needed tracking and visibility across the business.
