What do you dislike about the product?
It can feel a little bit sluggish at times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management, project tracking, ticket estimations, feedback sorting
Robust Task Management with Easy Setup
What do you like best about the product?
I use Jira for managing entire end-to-end tasks within product management. I appreciate better management and tracking of development and non-development tasks. I like Jira filters, which are powered by JQL, allowing me to filter tickets related to my module while also providing overall ticket management for all the modules. It’s a robust, scalable, and easy-to-use tool. I also find the simplicity and ability of Jira as a tool to be its power. Additionally, the initial setup for my team was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboard creation in Jira is pretty standard and a bit difficult to use. Its customization should be improved. It would be great to allow users to create widgets on their own, similar to Power BI or Excel, and perform operations like custom metrics creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira for managing end-to-end tasks within product management, allowing better management and tracking of both development and non-development tasks.
Highly Configurable, Feature-Rich, and Easy to Use with Strong GitHub Integration
What do you like best about the product?
Highly configurable, extensive functionality, capable software, easy to use. Good AI integrations and works well with github
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes clunky, can have issues when accessing stale tabs with a refreshed authenticated session and not be able to go back
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provides an extesive way to track work completed, build insights and organised delivery
All Projects in One Place which is easy to manage and track
What do you like best about the product?
Managing the multiple projects at one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price is bit costly for smaller team to work. New users will take time to understand the functionality, could be more user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking and updating every work or tasks we are working on is benefiting. assigning the tasks to team members, time tracking for each tasks, reviewing the set of work we are working on are some features which are useful.
Reliable for team collaboration and tracking
What do you like best about the product?
What I most like about jira is the way it is structure and makes everything feel completely rigid once you get used to it. I like the ability of customization - you can adapt to different types of projects. Integrations like Slack and github makes it easier to stay aligned where we work and team remains in flow with whats going on at a glance.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I’m working on large-scale projects, it can sometimes feel a bit slow, especially when loading boards. Overall, it’s a powerful tool, but the experience of getting used to managing large-scale projects could be smoother.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps us catch things that used to slip quickly when working as a team. Before using it, tasks, updates, and responsibilities were scattered across chats and docs, which made it hard to track progress and see who was working on what. With Jira, we now have everything centralized, and everyone has clear ownership of their tasks. Also, when each task is assigned and tracked, it reduces confusion and improves follow through.
Powerful Customisation and Control, but a Steep Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
It’s easy to maintain a high level of control over the services (forms, etc.) you provide to users. There’s strong visibility, along with plenty of customisation options and overall control.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems a bit unnecessarily complicated, it's not very user-friendly. While the features are vast the learning curve is so vast and confusing that it takes a while before you'll understand many of the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Great for co-working on large group projects integrating admin and users. A great ticketing system.
Efficient IT Ticket Management with Seamless Dashboards
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Jira lets you have different projects on the go at once. The dashboards functionality makes it easy to see what tickets you have open and which are awaiting your comments or input. This really helps keep things organized when you have multiple teams and departments working on various projects at the same time. The initial setup of Jira was seamless, and I didn't run into any issues. I also appreciate that you can add watchers to tickets so that it's not all on one person to follow up, which my manager uses to keep the IT team on track.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I find it hard to find which tickets I've submitted that are still open. I can see my recent tickets which include old ones that have been closed for a while. It would be useful to have a specific section for my tickets that are open.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Jira for organizing IT tickets and managing system issues. It helps keep things organized with multiple teams and projects, and the dashboard makes it easy to track open tickets.
Powerful Automations, but Jira Feels Too Complicated and Costly to Customize
What do you like best about the product?
I like the automations that Jira offers because they help me avoid manual work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira is way too complicated, and because there isn’t much built-in functionality, it can get pretty expensive to achieve the workflow you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I really like how Jira builds reports. With these reports, we can clearly see the impact of the changes we introduce and track sprint progress.
Highly Customizable Tool with Vast Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like how customizable Jira is, allowing us to build it out to essentially do whatever we want it to do. We can build out the reports and views as needed to track progress on development initiatives.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be difficult to find exactly what we're looking for based off of the sheer volume of options that are available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps us keep track of all the work that needs to be done and prioritize things on the dev side.
