What do you like best about the product?
- Intuitive, usable interface
- Highly flexible project/board/dashboard customization
- Integrates well with popular tools and services
- Mobile app available for on-the-go work
What do you dislike about the product?
- UX experiments sometimes disrupt established workflows
- Recent updates felt confusing rather than clearly improving the experience

With Jira, we have better visibility into what’s being worked on, what’s blocked, and what’s completed, which helps us stay productive and deliver more efficiently as a team.

1) Strong support for Scrum & Kanban workflows
2) Good backlog & sprint planning tools
3) Powerful reporting (burndown, velocity, release tracking)
4) Integrates well with DevOps/CI-CD and code repos
5) Confluence is good for documentation
What do you dislike about the product?
1) Can be complex/overwhelming for new users
2) Requires discipline (tasks often left “In Progress”)
3) Story estimation & tracking sometimes inconsistent
4) Discussions often happen outside Jira → gaps in visibility

Jira helps us organize and track work using Epics, Stories, and Tasks, giving clear visibility into project progress. It improves team collaboration, sprint planning, and accountability, while also helping us identify blockers faster and deliver features in a structured way.

Some Jira features are available with a premium subscription to the Jira platform.

Jira is highly used in big organizations for managing and development time management for better results. All developer team can easily understand their assigned task on Jira and without doubt start their work on assigned tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Jira stands out for its powerful issue and project tracking capabilities. Over years of use, the customizable workflows have saved so much time, and the Agile boards (Scrum, Kanban) make team collaboration super transparent and organized. The integrations with tools like Slack, Confluence, and GitHub also mean fewer silos and more productivity. It’s scalable for both small projects and enterprise-level work, and the reporting and dashboard features provide great visibility into our progress
What do you dislike about the product?
Jira can be overwhelming for new users—there’s a definite learning curve before everything ‘clicks’. Sometimes the interface feels cluttered, and core features are hidden behind a lot of clicks or configuration settings. For smaller or less technical teams, setup and customization might feel like overkill. Also, costs rise quickly as you add users or need more advanced functionality, and certain plugin integrations can be pricey or require extra admin work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jira helps our team stay organized by centralizing all our tasks, bugs, and project timelines in one platform. We’re able to catch issues early thanks to tracking and reporting features, and the integration with AI agents streamlines repeatable operations like triage and prioritization. This has minimized miscommunication and boosted productivity across projects, letting us focus more on core business goals instead of endless status meetings

What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can easily coordinate with other teams. I use JIRA mainly for task management. I like how I get notified for any update on teams directly because of their easy integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes their integrated jira cloud app on teams may send additional notifications for any activity on the task assigned to you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our ground team reaches out to us through JIRA tasks. It helps me organise my daily task, track the progress and collaborate with other departments if required.

What I like best about Jira is how powerful it is for tracking tasks and managing projects. The boards and workflows make it easy to see progress at a glance, and it’s very customizable to fit different team needs. It’s especially useful when working in agile sprints.

What I dislike about Jira is that it can feel overwhelming at first. The interface has so many options that new users often get confused, and simple tasks sometimes take more clicks than expected. It definitely takes some time to get used to.

What do you like best about the product?
The tool is very powerful for Agile support which works well with scum and tracking the projects is very easy. It's very useful when integrated with other tools like slack, confluence and other applications. The tool is easy to use in customizing dashboards and tickets and other projects assigned. It saves lot of time and suitable for large as well as small organizations. Its plays a vital role in customer support too as I was the part of it and it helped a lot managing and keeping our tickets organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be very complex at times when large projects are assigned which makes it slow sometimes. Some users might feel the interface could be simpler and more intuitive. Pricing can expensive too for small scale industries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps in team productivity by one time delivery which helps in improving transparency over the projects. It also helps in better planning and resource management. It provides data driven insights for continuous improvements and makes it easy for team to communicate and share updates. It reduces manual work with automated workflows and notifications. The main benefit is that it centralized all task, issues and updates all at one place. Basically, it has improved streamlined project tracking, collaboration and stay on top of deadline. The dashboard has better visibility making project management much more efficient.
