Teamcenter for automotive
What do you like best about the product?
This feature helps a lot to segregate data from OEM and Supplier meeling all the security requirements.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very clear about the lilcensing model to access the OEM portals, in one case it's OEM's cost and in another it's up to Supplier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main purpose is to enable our multisites collaboration in different regions.

Easy to adapt user interface, flexible and customizable
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such, upgrades adds lot regressions

Teamcenter is one of the most advanced PLM solution available in market which can be used for complete product lifecycle management across multiple domains within company
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing Teamcenter is high cost. Upgrading to new versions of Teamcenter is time taking and challenges also

Teamcenter is addressing several problems like design reviews with Change management, we are using document management. It helps us to create Boms
Best and Widely used PLM tool by Siemens
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use and implement plm tool. It has lots of features that makes managing product life cycle easy. It has very good feature of BOM an dMBOM management as well as other manufacturing and production features. It can be integrated with almost CAD and ECAD tools. Siemens support is also very good.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's little messy and stucks while managing extremely large cad files and also Java management with rich client.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes managing the product idea generation, design , manufacturing, production and maintenance easy. It is one in all software for manufacturing department in all domains.

What do you like best about the product?
Teamcenter offers a wide range of PLM tools that help manage product data and processes from inception through disposal. Teamcenter enable seamless collaboration across cross functional teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
None that I've experienced in my 20+ years of PLM career.

Efficient Supplier collaboration. Effective Change Management. Data security.
REVIEW TEAMCENTER
What do you like best about the product?
Superb document management which determines all document and data file versions is offered by Teamcenter. All websites will thus have real-time access to the most recent information. The NX and SAP integration is another factor that improves user performance.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have found Teamcenter to be really valuable, and using it hasn't been difficult at all. There's nothing about Teamcenter that I find objectionable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the automotive company where we use it,Teamcenter serves as the foundation for both new product design and important cornerstone designs that already exist. Because of this, tracking the version is quite simple and easy to use.

Solutions to difficult problems are hard to keep simple.

CAD vaulting keeps our data secure. Multiple CAD integrations allows multiCAD design. Engineering change management controls our release process. Active Workspace makes PLM easily accessible to non-engineering users.

Good Bom management capabilities with great new features to look forward to in version 2406

Hard to understand licenses required for each feature
