Very useful tool to quickly visualize concepts, collecting Ideas and making mind maps
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use quickly draw and connect shapes with text, navigate and zoom. Creating diagrams with miro is much easier and faster than doing it in, e.g., PowerPoint.
The performance is, overall, excellent (i.e., as good as can be expected from a browser-based application). It has improved since I have first used it. The templates help to get started with specific needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is not easy to create elements that have a common font size. The font size adjusts depending on the element types. For example, post-its vary font size by default to fill the shape. They can be set to have a fixed font-size, but this also depends on the dimensions of the shape. What I would rather have is an option to have an absolute font size (optionally with the shape adjusting in size to it).
This might not be a problem for miro, where people are used to zoom in and out, but definitely is for exports (e.g., PDF, PowerPoint), where you only have one zoom level.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
* Visualize ideas and concepts
* Quick planning (visualize flows and dependencies in a project)
You get much quicker to a usable result than with other tools (e.g., PowerPoint) because the handling of shapes and connections is much more intuitive (and just works!). People were able to use miro without any introduction.

My #1 tool for basically anything
What do you like best about the product?
I'm typically quite unstructured and I love to just get my ideas out. Miro helps me with exactly these two things by allowing me to work creatively but still add structure to the things I'm making. Yesterday a colleague complimented me for working so structured...
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not always easy to find back things or have a central place for your information. I tend to create new boards all the time and sometimes lose track of what to find where.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work collaboratively with colleagues in creative sessions, as well as for collaborative note-taking during user research. Whenever I need to get an idea out of my head, I work it out visually in miro.
So easy to collaborate when working remotely
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a great tool to use when you are looking to collaborate on projects across a team or a whole business. It is easy to use and easy to navigate, you can all work on it together at exactly the same time without your contribution causing problems for other people on the same board as you can work on different parts of the board at one time.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can easily navigate away from the area you are in and easily zoom in and out (which are both good features to have) but when you are discussing specific areas of the board it would be good to lock the board and its contents in that area so this doesn't happen as easily (maybe a double click will allow you to move or edit objects within that specific section of the board?) it can be a hold up when it happens, especially if you are working on a really large board, navigating your way back to where you were could potentially take some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit we've gained from Miro is the ability to work together on a project or campaign when you are all in different places, It feels a lot more similar to what it was when we were in the office working from a whiteboard.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a great tool, that's easy for your whole team to use, and if you're looking for something to bring them together and improve their communication/ collaborative efforts, this is the ONE you want.
Great tool for remote collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro enables us to effectively work as if we were all in a room but remotely. The tools and addons available make layouts simple to create, such as flowcharts and wireframes and then annotating with virtual post-its and swanky arrows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes you can experience network lag but haven't experienced it in a while, possibly due to our internet connections.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to the Covid pandemic, it was not possible for us to all brainstorm and collaborate in person. Miro has enabled us to all work remotely with nearly the same levels of collaboration and participation as if we were all together.
Easy to quickly build visual stories and share with colleagues
What do you like best about the product?
It's nice that it is actually one big canvas that you can fill, like an endless whiteboard.
I use it to create roadmaps, create an overview of my research and present Sprint reviews to stakeholders (really like the Jira plugin for this)

What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning, I was struggling a bit with the navigation, moving around the canvas was such a pain I almost quit using Miro. But then I found out I had to change the navigation from 'mouse' to 'trackpad' and it was way better!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First problem I solve is making research easy to share and explain to stakeholders; since it's easy to add images and links, you get a good overview quite fast. Besides that we also solved the problem of non-interactive sprint review sessions by using Miro; it's fun to ask people to leave comments on sticky notes with emoji during the meeting
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use plugins like Jira and Figma to create an easy overview of everything you're working on. Tip: use it as well for your team retrospectives, it's fun to collaborate, add pictures and everyone can directly contribute, my team really likes it.
Super useful app I always needed
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can organize my thoughts in a natural manner.
I like that I can collect all types of information in one visual place.
I like its templates.
I like that I can present and share the board with my clients and coworkers.
I like that I can sketch inside the board and make notes with stickers.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when the board is heavy loaded, it takes time to open it. It takes time to generate the images.
I don't like it when I want to connect an arrow on someplace on a large image; it jumps to one of its borders. But I can understand why it happens, and there are a few tricks to overcome it, like placing an additional object on top of the image and then connecting the arrow to this object.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use MIRO for all my design processes. I collect all the information needed for the project on the board; I make the suitable composition of this information. I place there all the visual outputs of my work. It makes it easy to control the chaotic process of creation. And I don't need all these physical whiteboards that I had.
Amazing collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been my go-to tool during COVID. It has the best and most stable tool to date to help facilitate online collaboration. It has been game-changing in helping visual ideas and thoughts. I love the versatility of Miro!
What do you dislike about the product?
While I love using this Miro, I find navigating around the board an opportunity for improvement. What I mean by this is that most of the time when I navigate around, it is fine but. However, there are times where I am simply trying to navigate around the board, it doesn't pick up what I am trying to do so I am accidentally moving things around when. This is easily managed via the "un-do" action and then changing the cursor behavior. Another workaround would be to lock objects, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is great in helping confirm that everyone is on the same page with an idea, problem or solution. Being able to work through this visually has been a huge help. I use Miro to facilitate workshops or as a presentation tool. I also use Miro as a way to just work through something I have in my head in a visual way.
I'm a visual person so Miro has been massive in helping my communicate what I need to in a visual manner which helps me confirm that everyone is on the same page.

The best option I've used to replace sticky notes virtually
What do you like best about the product?
Miro lets us choose the ways we want to collaborate, either based on templates or freely laying out our stickies or other objects. of which there are many. Whether it's just collating ideas, or a complex connected workflow diagram, we find ourselves using Miro now for most of our interactive sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes be tricky to make things look easy to scan, as the text sizes can be difficult to control. Also, people often inadvertently move items around before they realise they can lock them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First and foremost, with working from home, Miro has been an absolute lifesaver with the workshops and interactive group activities we carry out. It's enabled us to visually represent and share our strategies, operations and ideas in a way we couldn't before, and the commenting and additional features - such as the timer - are a bonus when we're working together to solve a problem
Fast, user-friendly and effective
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that most of the time, it provides me with exactly the tools I need to use (like tables, maps, clusterizer, etc). Plus, I can customize my workspace by downloading several useful apps and helpful templates. It is very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have trouble with alignment, especially when I need to align more than two objects.
I would like to be able to choose which object to align others with.
I would like to be able to choose which object to align others with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro especially to do workshops and organize information. Also, as I can collaborate simultaneously with my colleagues and share the boards when needed, I save a lot of time. We are always updated on what has been done.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just give it a try! You will fall in love with it :)
Power Collaboration and Process Creation Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use Miro. It's my first time working with it, and it's very intuitive. I could build jam boards, process maps, and general collaboration tools. It's been a great experience so far!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing much to say, and I honestly feel the tool is excellent! The ability to create frames and separate portions of processes could be a little bit better explained, but nothing that takes away from the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me to build frameworks to improve my operations and also helped me to register and deep dive into my processes to quickly identify bottlenecks and areas of opportunity. I also love how Miro integrates to confluence to build visual and efficient wiki pages
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Explore it! It's a fantastic tool, and you should try using it for multiple purposes. Don't strictly stick to collaboration whiteboards, but also try to use Miro for process mapping, building frameworks, and integrating with other tools such as confluence!
