Very usefull set of tools
What do you like best about the product?
User story mapping templates and sitemapping. I use it a lot. Covid period obliged us to find new way of doing workshops and collaborate with all the team members
What do you dislike about the product?
More templates would be welcome as sometime it really helps to get a canvas already set up. Often, I try to not start from a blank page. So for instance when I build site mapping for an existing website (with a lot of content and depth) we want to update, I couldn't find an appropriate template for this pretty common need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Often it is about being able to create mind mapping (to some extent) using different ways of displaying information. It is also about collaboration, the fact we can interact, edit, build at the same time is key. Sharing features help also.
Great Product to Visualise Ideas
What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes it really easy to get all of my ideas out and onto a board. The templates from Miro and others have healped me facilitate meetings and learn more about product management process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often drag elements around the page and resize them when I am just trying to navigate the page. I guess this is just down to learning and getting used to the interface though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Miro for blue-sky thinking a lot. I have also used the user journey mapping template to figure out features that users really need. Our team has used miro to document a system review. It has been a good tool for many team members to collaborate in real-time and share ideas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Since moving into product management/UX design, I have been surprised at the number of professionals and organizations using MIro to collaborate. It has helped to collaborate with partners outside of our organisation.
Excellent and versatile tool to boost productivity and collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I love the preset templates, it makes it so easy to collaborate with teamates on a wealth of projects amd initiatives. I also love how it's cloud synched, so I can save it and access it anywhere
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the presets are too geared towards product building- this means some of the customisability is limited in alternative applications. I'd really like if I could put photos in and set a vector clipping shape for them (e.g. circle)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've tackled a lot of process refinement initiatives on Miro, which has been a great experience. It has the functionality of competitor solutions like LucidChart, but also has capabilities beyond that. For example, the other day I used Miro to make graphics for a presentation.
Used for years, always great experience
What do you like best about the product?
I must say I love the looks. I enjoy using Miro for my workshops - it is intuitive to use, it is colorful, it is super fast, it has so much functionality that each time I use it, I learn something new.
I like using it to ideate how I can work with my team for months ahead and restructure anything at any time without losing the big picture.
I use it for personal projects as well - it was the best tool I found for planning the game with my friends.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it gets hectic on the board, but that is usually solvable by locking the frame.
The other small thing, the person's name can sometimes block parts of the text, so we have to ask the person to move their cursor.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Planning (all sorts of planning for events, team workshops, training, gifts, etc.)
- Workshops (I love to use it right now in new normal, cause we can easily share everything we do with those who choose to be remote)
- Team retros
I also like that all the boards stay there forever as documentation we can always come back to.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try, I fell in love with it after my first use!
It's a great program for organizing you and your team's thoughts. Hoping to keep seeing improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it is built into your browser and super accessible. I like how easy it is to navigate across devices. The templates are helpful as well as being able to start from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the controls were easier to learn using different navigation methods (mouse, trackpad, touch screen). Specifically, it took me a while to learn how to select all items on a board using my mouse. I also wish that creating trees were more automatic (less manual placing of arrows between boxes). Honestly I love the program, most of my suggestions are about making it even easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I often organize my user research insights, brainstorm new product ideas, and analyze complex concepts. I have also used it in groups for design activities. It is excellent for collaboration and getting your thoughts organized. It is faster and easier to change things compared to other programs and even compared to doing things on paper.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is so easy to try it out so give it a try. Have others in your team use it as well and make it a company tool.
Completely changes the way i collect thoughts
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can, in a very creative friendly way jot down basically any idea i have, organize thoughts and go from bite to framework. I can then share with all my colleagues very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's basically only that the iPad pen support is limited, but i do understand the complexities of implementing that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I visualize ideas and processes in a very easy way, i can organize workshops very well and create Creative meeting notes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it, try it with some co-workers, have a little workshop remotley. You'll love it.
An awesome experience
What do you like best about the product?
I can collaborate with other people in a way that is more fun than ever. I could do this for all of my days because it's like a game for my team and me. I never see something like this in the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a lot of my internet capacity. Nothing that a little patience cannot resolve, but I try not to use in presentation, though. I think I need to improve my internet provider.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning has become a game, which is excellent. It improves my time consuming with this kind of work and, of course, I can make more money while I'm more productive.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a productivity tool, better consider Miro. Despite being a collaboration tool, your productivity may skyrocket. Seriously.
Like Visio, But Good!
What do you like best about the product?
The simple yet effective user interface allows for quick and easy additions, plus the easy way of collaborating as a team means you don't have to wait for updates from colleagues. I also like that the system is clearly under constant development, with helpful changes and additions most weeks - which are always helpfully documented so you know what new features you now have.
What do you dislike about the product?
The collaboration function is excellent, but the license model is a little confusing (very similar names, if nothing else) and can be awkward. For example, a "Free" board can be collaborated on easily, but a board created by a Pro user can't have collaboration from Free users without that being "temporary" - they don't get to save access to the board on their homepage, which is a frustration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is being used for various forms of design and collaboration, from ITIL process development to the design of AI/ML logic and troubleshooting.
Great for documenting complex code flow
What do you like best about the product?
infinite canvas, ipad support, apple pencil support, ability to track and resolve comments from teammates, ability to search across the board, excellent performance smoothness
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not too fond of the lack of collapsible elements. If I want to document complex code, I don't want my diagrams to look complicated in the first look. I want them to be able to click and expand part of the diagram. Just like in Google Maps, we get more details when I zoom in more and more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro to solve the knowledge transfer of our codebase. We document code flow, data flow, state diagrams, user scenarios mapping, etc., in Miro. We also use it to figure out how to refactor a complex code in our codebase
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't come here with the expectation of a "do it all" solution. It will work superbly for you if you look at it for solving a particular use-case like diagramming, brainstorming, project visualization, etc.
Great tool for brainstorming and general visualization
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Miro provides a real-time tool that you can use to collaborate with teammates remotely. I personally love to use whiteboards when working with teammates, but since we're all working remotely, we can't do that in person. Miro lets you do that. Not just that, but you can also use it to visualize personal tasks and to create your own innovative plans.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's really nothing that comes to the top of mind, but it may be beneficial to be able to collaborate with individuals not on your own Miro account. It may be possible, but collaborating with partners at different companies would be interesting.
