An indispensable Modern collaboration tool for remote work

  • April 26, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Miro allows you to boost your creativity by having a set of tools that are easy to use, dynamic and integrated with other systems, and looking great! This provides remote teams with a comfortable environment for collaboration that is indispensable in today's working methods.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an improvement proposal, there should be an option to hide/blend the frames, sometimes they affect the visual experience. Otherwise, I have nothing to point out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaboration on a remote working setup. It creates a real-time interactive atmosphere that is very fun and appealing. This facilitates collaboration and makes any meeting an enjoyable experience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The best collaboration tool on the market.

Miro is amazing

  • April 26, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for the past semester, as a college student. I used it for a team project and I love it so much! It is so easy and makes collaboration super interactive and fun! It helped bring our project to the next level, allowed us to create clear and concise diagrams, and was everything I could've wanted!!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I can think of is that there is not really an easy way to make straight lines in a 'freestyle' manner when they are not connected to bubbles. It is sometimes awkward and you have to move the bubbles away to get the lines right then move them back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Miro to complete a capstone project with a group from my university. It was a huge project that is a degree requirement, and it involved many presentations, analysis, and data sharing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is amazing for creating professional diagrams and mind maps!

A truly cutting edge piece of software (as a service.)

  • April 25, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I consider Miro a jack of many trades. It does everything a great note-taking program does combined with a screen-sharing, illustration, and hybrid meeting/whiteboard/planning program all in one. It is a truly free-form "canvas" that allows you to create "panes" and frames of information and dialogues, transformed with your ideas - whether they be notes, illustrations, imported graphics, or charts... you name it. Miro does it all. Conferencing features are made all the more robust with features that allow you to start all viewers on specific areas and frames. You can imagine the implications of this... the current lead can, quite literally, "bring" everyone through a series of custom panes of information and then drop them into an interactive pane with a place to type notes, feedback, or vote. Skys the limit! Plugins round out the capabilities of this very powerful, powerful whiteboard. It is simply the best.

I am finding myself pulling away from conventional note-taking and storage software and moving all of my most creative and cherished ideas and writings/observations/ideas into Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot stand Miro's branding. I think it's childish and follows the current trend in design - this very chunky, globby, large and clunky visual mess of a movement. It's a great thing the software and interface make up for it. What Miro needs is the same UI lead from a company like Webflow or Apple to come in and really do a once-over on the messy branding and UI. It is otherwise, in every respect, one massively amazing piece of software mastery!!!

(Or, you can hire me. www.qrio.art - I would LOVE to tackle your UI and branding immediately.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of my notes, ideas, and observations need to live on Miro! And it looks like they have a plan that might work. I would be moving from a more conventional software solution like Evernote - which I also LOVE. But Miro has convinced me that a LIVE, fluid canvas to hold all of the concepts and ideas constantly flowing from an artist's perspective, is where it's at. I feel confined by a more horizontal/vertical single pane user-experience - one with only tables and grids and text with some control over images as my blank slate. And I am much more excited about spilling my ideas all over a live and "liquid" canvas that seems limitless and almost built in a digital and limitless sky.

I love that my team and my clients can enjoy this kind of an experience too - without sacrificing quality or speed. Adding friends and co-workers to a Miro board is simple and enjoyable. Being able to "lead" and to determine their on-screen experience LIVE with granular control over guidance and landing-pages and frames is such a bonus.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A modern masterpiece of digital magic - a thrilling combination of whiteboard, magical mind-mapping!

Excelent board, ideas and project management tool

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The availability to work directly on the web makes it really dynamic and easy to use in comparison with other tools. Miro is easy to integrate depending on the membership with the current SSO solutions. Recently we begin to use it for different employees with a successful perception doing their job.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some cases, you've issues with graphics when try to add it to the board, but they are improving features continuously. Not fully dislike it but suggest solving it so soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During the pandemic situation, Miro helps us to solve the option to have meetings and brainstorming sessions all the time, this tool helps to use certain methodologies and options to maintain the ideas unified.

The best tool for new ways of working

  • April 20, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity and the amount of options that I have as a facilitator to run workshops virtually. I literally do not see myself going back to a "real" whiteboard as Miro gives me better options.
Oh - and of course the Miroverse
What do you dislike about the product?
I literally can't think of anything essential. One minor thing is that with especially bigger boards, the loading time tends to be a bit more "lengthy", but there are good workarounds available.
A library with pictures (free to use) would be amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to run all my workshops virtually without missing anything! Even better, I feel like team members are to contribute easier and usually have more engagement virtually.

Great multiple purpose tool

  • April 19, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Great in process of software design and very useful for describing features for each user story. Also, a great tool while holding team integration and ice-breaker events.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it may be hard to share a link that will be available for everyone - some features require a signed-in licensed user and even though I have the feature available I cannot share it with newcomers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly I am using it to create interactive screens that allow my team to cooperate while working on a software design for developing web applications. This tool is great for this purpose.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Remember that Miro is only as good as your creativity will allow. Try to test all of the functionalities with your team to gather the best ideas on how to use the interactive boards. I recommend trying it out with team collaboration activities like project kick-offs and retrospective sessions.

Great for breaking down code behind a design

  • April 19, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
With Invision our team is able to quickly and effectively translate a design into the code needed to bring new pages up on our site. We also find value in the collaborative nature and ability to add comments between designers and engineers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reliability and overall performance of Invision loaded in the browser could use some improvements. While not terrible, the larger site files can sometimes be sluggish or take additional time to load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Invision we are able to have a collaborative effort between both design and dev teams when creating new pages for our website. Overall I would recommend Invision to any company with a design focus.
