Great Collaboration Tool for Consultants and Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has become a really solid everyday tool in my consulting work. I use it regularly to sketch architecture diagrams, brainstorm with teams, and document ideas and decisions as we work through data and AI solutions with clients. It’s fast to get ideas out of your head and onto a canvas, easy to collaborate in real time, and flexible enough to support everything from rough whiteboarding sessions to more polished artifacts that can be shared with stakeholders. For workshops and early-stage design conversations, it lowers the barrier to participation and keeps everyone aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
Where Miro falls a bit short for me is in deeper support for technical architecture work. While it’s possible to create solid diagrams—and integrations like draw.io or features like the AWS Cloud view help—it still feels like these are secondary rather than first-class capabilities. I’d love to see more native, opinionated support for technical architects: richer cloud and data architecture primitives, better layout and alignment tools for complex diagrams, and clearer positioning of these features within the product. Miro is already a great collaboration platform; leaning further into technical architecture use cases would make it even more valuable for consultants and engineering teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes remote collaboration with my teammates feel much smoother. It’s not just an effective virtual whiteboard; Miro boards actually surpass traditional whiteboards by serving as dynamic, digital spaces that preserve our conversations and ideas for as long as we need them. I frequently revisit old boards to recall previous ideas or to find new inspiration.
Ease of Use and Helpful Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I can actively interact the board with multiple people at once and it is very easy to learn. I used it once a week, minimum.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use the free version and really do love it but find it hard to recommend to all of my peers when there are limited access for the free version
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with a non-profit in town and have been using this as a way to connect to the board members. I use it to show them my progress throughout the week
Team collaboration on ux projects
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate this tool because it is user-friendly and allows people to collaborate on team projects in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
When handling large boards, I notice that navigation becomes slower. I mean that large boards often feel heavy which affects speed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast and effective collaboration with my team as we can work in real time and see the process and results immediately.
Effortless Progress Tracking and Visualization
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, great tool to visualize the progress achieved in every coaching session
What do you dislike about the product?
Might improve the export features for continuous "rolls"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
getting structure into clients minds
Convenient Ease-of-Use, Lacks Offline Capability
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro is easy to use and convenient, especially when I don't have paper. Its accessibility and ability to share a live link with others are great, as I can help my sister without needing to share my screen since she sees what I'm doing. It's also nice that it's free with no annoying ads. Setting up Miro was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it requires an internet connection or the use of an infinite canvas. It would be nice if I could work offline or use a page instead of an infinite canvas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro easy to use and very convenient when I don't have paper on hand.
Effortless to Use with Great Integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use, friendly interface, nice integrations
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing honestly, I haven't found something on my usage pattern to dislike in MIRO
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I enjoy having an easy way to show and explain ideas and concepts to my colleagues
Best-in-Class Mind-Mapping and Card Block Features for Rapid Development
What do you like best about the product?
The mind-map feature has capacity that is best in class for this function and this alone is worth the subscription. The Card Block feature allows tagging, linking and opens up to a notepad of contents. These two features alone allow us to do rapid development and deployment of software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Never quite understood the AI prototyping function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro addresses the challenge of quickly developing and deploying solutions for our customers, even with a small team where developers are also responsible for support and documentation. We've created what we call the living process map: a product is designed visually as a process map, with each process either containing test code within its 'process card' or linking to external services as needed. The card blocks include a status feature (To do, working, completed), making it easy for everyone to track the progress of each step at any time. Once all the connected function blocks are finished, the diagram itself becomes both documentation and a support reference, eliminating the need for developers to spend hours writing out text for processes that are more easily understood visually. This approach has proven to be a real asset for us.
Intuitive and Flexible Tool for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that Miro is colorful, which makes it easier to identify which activities are related, dependent, and interdependent. Visually, I can make these connections very easily. The integration with other templates is great, allowing me to create interconnected flowcharts and mind maps. It is very easy to use and gives me the freedom to make the connections I need. I also find Miro very intuitive; I downloaded it on my computer and phone, so I can easily access it from anywhere for diagrams or when an idea comes up.
What do you dislike about the product?
It might be a bit difficult to find where to select to download a specific part of the flowchart or diagram. It's a little hidden, but after you do it 2 or 3 times, you get used to it and can easily print or take a picture of that specific part of the Smart Art.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me understand where I need to act first and which activities are done simultaneously. It facilitates brainstorming to improve project management, especially at the university. I can visualize interactions between different fronts, such as students of different levels and community projects.
A powerful tool for alignment and faster decision-making
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Miro is how easily it turns complex ideas into a shared, visual understanding. I especially enjoy using it for customer journey mapping, where multiple stakeholders can collaborate in real time, add context, and align quickly without friction. It makes workshops and thinking processes feel structured, yet flexible.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I sometimes miss in Miro is a wider variety of ready-to-use templates. While it’s very flexible and powerful, having more pre-built templates for different use cases would make it even faster to get started. Other than that, I don’t see any major downsides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro addresses the challenge of cross-team alignment and decision-making in complex projects.
By creating a shared, visual workspace, it reduces misalignment, shortens feedback loops, and speeds up execution. From a business perspective, this translates into more efficient workshops, clearer priorities, and faster progress from insight to action.

Effortlessly Connect Ideas with Miro
What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro for its ease of use and the multiple templates that make it easy to customize as needed. The available templates for retros are quick and easy to use, and I love the reactions feature when collaborating with multiple people. Adding reactions to sticky notes helps capture people's feelings about the context. It's also pretty easy for me to log in with company credentials.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to create workflows and plan solution architectures. It helps connect information virtually for better analysis. The ease of using templates, especially for retros, and adding reactions to sticky notes to capture feedback improves collaboration.
