I use Miro primarily for my studies and I find it to be incredibly beneficial for brainstorming and taking notes. The platform boasts a clean user interface and a highly effective sharing mechanism that makes collaboration with peers seamless. What stands out to me the most are the sticky notes feature which makes it easy to jot down notes and create flowcharts, aiding in my study process and memory retention. Additionally, connecting these sticky notes is straightforward, allowing me to organize information according to my preferences and review them effortlessly later on. Miro's ease of use, right from the initial setup, has enabled me to integrate it smoothly with other tools like Word and Excel, further enhancing my productivity. The AI features, despite limited use, have been exceptionally helpful in organizing my thoughts and saving time. These aspects make Miro a vital tool in my academic toolkit, and I am highly likely to recommend it to others, scoring it a perfect 10 on likelihood to recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not in a financial situation to pay for the premium features, particularly the AI features. These features are highly valuable as they help me organize my thoughts and save time, but the limited access to these features restricts my learning. As a student, more accessible options for these features would be beneficial.

I find Miro excellent for brainstorming and taking notes, with a clean UI and easy sharing. Sticky notes help quickly organize ideas and flowcharts, enhancing my study efficiency and improving note revision.

I like that Miro is easy to manage and allows me to use large boards, which are both compact and brilliant for organizing my work tasks like storyboarding, assets direction, and guidelines. I find the ability to upload content such as images, GIFs, and videos highly valuable for enhancing my projects. Furthermore, I appreciate that Miro integrates with Slack, keeping me instantly informed about updates, which helps maintain a seamless workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the performance issues with the Miro desktop app, which frequently crashes or refreshes, disrupting my workflow. It's slower than the web app, and I often have to wait a considerable amount of time for the board to reload, which hampers my efficiency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for storyboard guidance, asset direction, and brief creation. It's easy to manage with large, compact boards. Uploading content like images and videos is seamless, and Slack integration helps with instant updates.

What do you like best about the product?
Having the ability to organize all your work on one endlessly expandable board is extremely helpful, particularly because it makes sharing and accessing information with colleagues so simple. Additionally, importing images is now much easier than before.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of having used it for about a month now, there are no really downsides to this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having to switch between multiple information tabs or document tabs at once. Easy integration, easy to jot down ideas without having to worry about space, heading, footer and text size. easy to organise documents without any hassle.

At work, as a Product Director, I find it invaluable for starting new projects because it allows me to visualize ideas, gather notes, address issues, and facilitate collaboration seamlessly. Miro's features are exceptionally versatile, offering a suite of tools like document creation and mockups that create a comprehensive ecosystem for my work. The flexibility to handle multiple document formats, diagrams, and sticky notes, among others, in a single space is something I deeply appreciate. Its interface is user-friendly and straightforward, which contributes to its ease of use. Over the years, I have noticed the consistent addition of new features, many of which I have found to be quite useful. Moreover, the initial setup was very easy, all contributing to a smooth experience overall.

One issue that affects my workflow is the requirement to be zoomed in enough to edit arrows that connect different elements on the Miro board. This change has influenced my experience negatively, especially when I need to connect elements that are further apart. Previously, I could connect items with a larger zoom out, which was more convenient for me.

The new AI feature significantly enhances my ability to organize content, making workflows smoother and more coherent. Additionally, Miro's templates are incredibly useful, reducing my workload and articulating ideas clearly without the hassle of constantly coming up with new structures or frameworks. From my experience over the past year, I found the initial setup to be remarkably easy, which made integration and ongoing use extremely pleasant.

I found the 'record with talktrack' option problematic. While it's a valuable feature, it often did not function as expected, with recorded videos frequently being unplayable. This issue affected both me and my colleagues, and it essentially rendered the feature unreliable for capturing and sharing presentations. Additionally, improvements could include better integration for recording and playback, and incorporating a transcription feature to enhance usability.
