What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro allows me to plan out the entire academic year in a user-friendly and modular way. I appreciate the collaborative nature of it, as multiple users can work on it at once, which is essential for our team of teachers to be on the same page and produce quality work. The initial setup of Miro was very easy, and there have been no complaints about it. I also like Miro so much that I'd give it a 10 out of 10 on the likelihood to recommend it to a friend or colleague. We use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we could have access to more paid features in the free version. I would love to be able to create more boards.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro to capture business requirements and prepare various documents, which is very handy for presenting to the business and downloading them directly from Miro. It's easy to put together diagrams, create structures for running requirements gathering sessions, and manage documentation, all of which adds to easy collaboration. I find Miro easy to understand and use, acting as a one-stop shop for everything I need to do. Features like frames, shapes, commenting, and the ability to provide view-only access are particularly useful. Additionally, it is easy to create diagrams and documents and download them in the required format.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me I think scrolling through and minimisation could be improved. I was a little confused to request access and add a user initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to capture business requirements and prepare documents. It simplifies diagram creation, supports easy collaboration, and lets me download documents in the required format. Its features like frames, shapes, and commenting make it a one-stop shop for my needs.

Empowered Cross-Team Collaboration, Needs AI Enhancement

  • April 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy using Miro for my UX Design thinking as it helps with feature mapping, field mapping, User Journey, and documenting customer feedback. I appreciate how Miro facilitates cross-team collaboration by providing a single place for us to work together. The AI tools are a big plus as they help quickly identify customer feedback and common themes, making it easy to gather insights. I find hosting collaborative events very straightforward, and the abundance of templates speeds up the setup for design exercises. Miro is more accessible and provides more powerful tools for multiple teams, which is why we switched from Figjam. Additionally, the initial setup of Miro was very easy, which was a pleasant surprise.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think AI could be improved upon. I find that I cannot give it everything for a feature mapping and it gets me close to what I need. Usually, I need to manually put the entire thing together or use a template. Provide insights for better prompting for AI. I think that could help understand how to get a better output.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for cross-team collaboration, providing a single place to work together. The AI tools help identify customer feedback quickly, and the templates make setting up design exercises fast and easy.

This collaborative workspace lets you go from a mind map to complete documents. People seem motivated by this structure; it feels like everything is in one place, so you can track the progression of an idea all the way to a fully built project.

Miro changed the way our team collaborates — and we're never going back

  • April 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro transforms remote collaboration into a genuinely engaging experience. The infinite canvas gives teams unlimited space to brainstorm, plan, and visualize ideas without constraints. The template library is outstanding — from user story mapping and sprint planning to mind maps and retrospectives, there's a ready-to-use template for virtually every team workflow. Real-time collaboration is seamless, with multiple users working simultaneously with no lag. The sticky notes, voting, and timer features make facilitated workshops and design thinking sessions feel as natural as being in the same room. Integration with the most popular project management, communication, and design tools makes it a true hub for cross-functional teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free tier is quite limited, restricting users to only 3 editable boards, which pushes teams to paid plans quickly. Performance can degrade noticeably on very large or complex boards with many elements. The mobile experience, while functional, doesn't match the desktop version in terms of usability. Also, for new users the infinite canvas can feel disorienting at first — navigation and zooming take some getting used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro has become the central workspace for our distributed team's collaborative sessions. It replaced disconnected tools like physical whiteboards, presentation software, and scattered note-taking apps. We now run all our agile ceremonies — sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement — directly in Miro, keeping everything documented and accessible asynchronously. This has dramatically improved team alignment, reduced meeting overhead, and made our design and planning processes more visual and inclusive for all stakeholders.

Helpful for Creating Medical Flowcharts and Teaching Diagrams

  • April 07, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The most useful part of Miro for me is the ability to create visual diagrams and simple flowcharts during teaching sessions. In my role as a medical educator, it helps explain medical workflows and concepts in a more clear way to students. The drag and drop tools make it easy to organize ideas and prepare teaching content quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
One small difficulty is that at the beginning it takes time to understand all the tools because there are many options available. Also, large boards can feel slightly slow at times, but overall it works well for regular use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Earlier, explaining medical workflows and concepts during teaching sessions was sometimes difficult using only text or slides. It was not always easy to show step by step processes clearly. With Miro, I can create simple diagrams and flowcharts to explain topics like patient workflow or pregnancy care steps. This makes teaching more clear for students and saves time while preparing session content.
