Seamless Collaboration and Versatile Use
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for development documentation and fun team activities like quizzes and suggestions. Miro is very useful because it provides a unified UI for presenting both technical and functional aspects of projects and release plans. The collaboration and workspace features help manage multiple projects with different teams. The most likable feature is the collaboration, which allows teams to brainstorm together or individually. Sharing projects and the access control feature are also very useful, making it easy to invite team members. Miro allows teams to build plans and flows quickly through real-time participation. Comments and feedback enhance presentations, and sharing with access control allows us to present confidently, helping the audience understand more clearly. The real-time collaboration, ease of sharing, flexibility in design, and available templates influenced our switch to Miro. The initial setup was easy, and I strongly recommend Miro when it comes to designing and ideation, rating it a 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro is a great tool for development. However, I see potential improvement, which can push to be recommended as a single point for all development: 1. Project management: Adding metrics, due dates, release cycle efficiency evaluation, and impediment identification features will take it to the next level. Github project sprint planner can be an inspiration to identify these improvements. 2. AI feature: Documentation generator, MCPs to seamlessly connect with Cursor/Vibe code editors and generate content, models, and designs. 3. Export: Export text and tables as Markdown (will help to ship with release documents as well as AI systems).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides a unified UI to manage technical and functional project aspects. Its collaboration features let our team brainstorm both together and individually. We can confidently share projects with access controls, which makes presentations and understanding much clearer.
A Storytelling Ally with Stunning Flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for creating a storyboard for the novels I am writing. As a very visual thinker, Miro helps me map out complex storylines and plot elements in a way that no other service can. I like the flexibility it offers because I can make simple creations or very complex ones, complete with documents, images, and more. It's aesthetically pleasing; when I create something, I not only have a good outline, but I also have something that looks good. The initial setup was extremely easy, practically plug and play.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the most part, it's quite unlimited, even in the free version. However, there are some limits - such as 3 boards to start with - that can make it hard for new users if they have a lot of ideas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a visual thinker, and Miro helps me map complex storylines effectively. It offers flexibility for both simple and complex creations, adding documents and images. It's also aesthetically pleasing, allowing my work to look good.
Great for Brainstorming: Sticky Notes, Following Teammates & Easy Pre-Made Boards
What do you like best about the product?
Love the tool for brainstorm sessions, the sticky notes and the feture to follow other people is really great, and also the pre-created boards are very easy to use
What do you dislike about the product?
When you want to start from scratch it can be painful to build with zoomin-in, out, and navigating in the screen

Mapping out our current CRM strategy, brainstorming new ideas and visually helping with seeing gaps or improvement areas
Using Miro to support our website redesign
What do you like best about the product?
We’re a small marketing team of four, so it really helps us map out smaller projects we want to collaborate on, especially when we need to visualise ideas. its relatively easy to pick up and use with the team, and the board share option leaves little room for confusion. Most recently, we’ve been redesigning our website, and we use it as our main space to lay out and visualise the sitemap and wireframes.
What do you dislike about the product?
We’ve only used the free version, since the premium option feels quite pricey for what it provides. On the other hand, the free plan is extremely limited in terms of capabilities. For me personally, that combination puts me off the product: I’m not willing to pay the price for the team plan, but I also can’t do enough with the free plan to make it worthwhile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We’re using Miro as our central place to collaborate and keep all the designs for our website redesign. Right now, we use it to build and share the sitemap and wireframes, gather in-context feedback, and stay aligned and on track throughout the process.
Simplifies Workflow Management with Some Improvements Needed
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for workflow management and progress tracking. I like its simplicity and smoothness. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cards feature could be better; it's not very intuitive. It should be easier to view notes, like having an option to flip the card on hover showing the first few lines of the card details. There should be a very cheap option for users who use Miro alone and don't plan on adding people to the workspace, or a free version with collaboration locked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for workflow management and progress tracking. It enhances visibility of what's going on.
AI-Powered Prototyping from Flowcharts and Post-it Notes
What do you like best about the product?
It uses AI, and it also offers the option to prototype a product starting from a flowchart or from explanations written across different post-its.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform needs to take action on the presentation feature, because it’s impossible for me to upload a PowerPoint presentation to the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All themes related to the integration of AI and prototyping are covered.
Versatile Whiteboard for Collaborative Studying, Limited Free Options
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Miro is like an online board or whiteboard with lots of options. It's like a big whiteboard where one person can write the problem, the other can solve it, and the third person can make changes to it online. It's very easy to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has very few free options to choose it with friends.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to replace physical notebooks, allowing my friends and me to write and return to notes on a shared board.
Exceptional Tool for Collaborative Roadmapping
What do you like best about the product?
I just love how creative Miro is. There's so many people here collaborating on Miro, and there are so many prebuilt designs that you can import, which look so professional. The colors are brilliant in Miro, and I love how the board expands with you as you move. It's very neat and tidy, and you can have your full project design and everything on one board, allowing someone to get a whole prototype view of it. The prebuilt designs, like road mapping and flow diagrams, save time compared to building it yourself, but you have the option to create something bespoke if needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's very little I dislike about Miro! I don't even think I could say anything. If I dislike something, it's usually because I haven't fully understood a feature or how to use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us brainstorm and road map IT systems, visualize ideas, and identify gaps. It facilitates project management with detailed, shareable roadmaps and categorizes deliverables with color codes, creating professional visuals for collaboration.
Great templates, but hard to choose—and document formatting feels limited
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to create an account and be on-boarded into the application.
Laying out items on a board and linking/connecting items together works well. I like it for things like brainstorming/mind mapping, and kanban type boards.
Laying out items on a board and linking/connecting items together works well. I like it for things like brainstorming/mind mapping, and kanban type boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro has a lot of different template and options, it is difficult knowing which one to use. Maybe having an easy way to see the features of the template, so it makes it easier to pick one to use.
I tried making my item into a document on my board, but the options for formatting text in the document seem somewhat limited, and seems somewhat clunky to use. It's fine for simple single text blobs.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it to help me organize my thoughts and work. I'm relatively new to using, but see the potential for using for other items.
Great for Visual Collaboration, Needs Pricing Adjustments
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for whiteboarding and brainstorming ideas with my team, and creating reference diagrams. It's a great tool for visual learners, as it helps diagram processes and connections easily. I appreciate the ability to share with others and edit in real time during brainstorming sessions. I like the simplicity, ease of use, and the streamlined feel and performance of Miro. The diagramming features, including shapes and connections, are engaging, and mind maps are a nice touch. The library of specific service diagramming shapes like AWS EKS are particularly useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a small business, we budget for a limited team, there are no options for different levels of seats across the organization (e.g. full seat, contributor, read only). Instead you add guests individually to boards and are by default prompted to add them as a full recurring seat every time. Also, some of the organization/team management tools could be improved; it was somewhat tricky when we were transferring ownership.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro for whiteboarding, brainstorming, and creating reference diagrams. It's great for visual learners, allows real-time editing, and easy sharing for brainstorming sessions.
