Ease of Use for Diagrams, Improvable in Design
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ease of assembling logic blocks in Miro. When designing prototypes of a new product or software, I find it very easy to make flowcharts because they have all the elements available, which makes it easy to present clear and presentable diagrams, even for non-technical teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that sometimes it tends to be a bit complex to align the designs. They already have functions that help make it symmetrical, but it could be better. Honestly, the initial setup was a bit complex because I didn't quite understand the spaces in the corporate account at first and I was losing my files, but then I understood it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro makes designing prototypes easier by simplifying the logic scheme, presenting it clearly for non-technical teams. Flowcharts are easy to assemble with all the available elements.
Visual Clarity and Seamless Team Integration with Miro
What do you like best about the product?
I find Miro easy to get started with and accessible in terms of functionality. I like the visuals it creates, which help me better understand complex campaigns. I am able to share campaign workflows as visuals with my marketing ops teams to integrate into our email systems. Additionally, the integration with Slack is pretty useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
No major concerns with the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Miro provides clarity on email workflows and improves visibility across teams. It helps me share campaign workflows as visuals with my marketing ops teams, which makes it easier to build in our email systems.
Innovative Freedom for Collaborative Brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that Miro provides the freedom to innovate on the project process and brainstorm collaboratively with remote colleagues. The 'stickies' are fundamental to collaborative brainstorming, and everything resonates from them. I also enjoy that 'Uptempo Funk' acts as the soundtrack of any productive brainstorming session.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love Miro AI to understand our unstructured mess and turn it into structured documents when a more formal way is required. We generate example maps, but I would like to see this replicated in a formalized structure, with ticket numbers I can copy. Currently, we use Notion as our 'structured' place, but this requires a lot of duplication.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides freedom to innovate on the project process, brainstorm collaboratively with remote colleagues, and try new things. It lets us work in a free and unstructured way.
Simple, Intuitive, and Accessible Collaboration Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Miro is simple to access, free, and intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro appears to be focusing heavily on AI, which is problematic for companies who do not allow their colleagues to use AI systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Miro primarily for wireframing updates to our websites.
Revolutionized Our Collaboration with Real-Time Features
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for brainstorming and working collaboratively. I like how it allows me to pull together from different sources and view everything in one place. The ability to work together in real time with others virtually is great. I enjoy the post-its feature, where I can drag and fill in real time, group them, and others can add notes to each other's post-its. The initial setup was easy, and it was simple to get all the team added to the same workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
Miro can be slow if a board has a lot on it, and I don't like not being able to download pictures and screenshots from the board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to pull together from different sources and view everything in one place. It helps us work together in real-time with others virtually, enhancing our brainstorming and collaboration.
Expansive Canvas and Collaboration Tools Elevate My Workflow
What do you like best about the product?
Ever expansive canvas and strong collaboration tools. The tools and elements are what I need for my role.
What do you dislike about the product?
Organization of distinct but related project work is difficult. I work on a CRM platform and have multiple stakeholders. Keeping feature design work organized is proving difficult. I contrast Miro with Lucid's tabular canvas within a single board.... that worked well for me and I have not found a way to replicate that within Miro. I have some canvasses where I need a map to be able to collaborate with others because there are so many things that need to inter-relate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Shared collaboration workspace, particularly for feature design. We have brainstorming sessions, then are able to break out the ideas we want to go deeper with and start that process on the same canvas so we can relate back to what sparked the idea. I also very much like the Jira link to my development management system.
Effortless Flowcharts and Visuals for Technical Projects
What do you like best about the product?
Quick and easy flowchart/visuals for technical features and projects
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a bit cumbersome importing/uploading images, or when elements of flowcharts are sticky or not sticky, but overall pretty easy to use. I don't care for the sales rep outreach, we're fine on our current plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating and showing technical functionality to non-technical stakeholders
Outstanding Collaboration Features Enhance Teamwork
What do you like best about the product?
collaboration features. ease of following people / tracking where things are
What do you dislike about the product?
difficult to place videos or PDFs (certain file types)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keynote is very difficult to collaborate without expensive group subscriptions so my company likes to use Miro for our internal reviews! So easy to see everyone's work and feels more "WIP" than placing everything into a deck.
A Centralized Hub with Powerful AI Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for work to organize projects, create wireframes, take notes, and centralize information. I enjoy having a centralized space that my team can log onto. I'm enjoying the AI assistant, particularly its translation features and quick summaries that help me organize my notes. The process of adding new features or users has been straightforward and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I have many boards, it's not easy to find the one I'm looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize projects, make wireframes, and centralize information. It provides a centralized space for my team and has useful features like translations and quick summaries that help organize my notes.
Perfect Collaboration and Creativity Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I use Miro for work, mainly for coming up with new ideas. It's a good place to collaborate, an open and creative space without limits, unlike working into a final document, which can feel quite constricting. I like some of the newer functionalities like voting and private mode. These are great for our brainstorming sessions and workshops, making them more fun and engaging. Voting is especially useful for gauging opinions during research workshops, while privacy mode helps to prevent bias in answers. The initial setup of Miro was very easy, with no issues at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much really! Small things like not being able to add in PowerPoint deck slides in a single upload and not being able to have multiple timers running at once, but these are not major barriers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is a creative space for collaboration without limits. Voting and privacy mode enhance brainstorming and workshops, making them more engaging and unbiased.
