Next level collaboration tool !
What do you like best about the product?
That you can collaborate in realtime just like in a rooms
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes slows don the computor when using teams and Miro together. When sharing the screen with Microsoft teams and running Miro with a large (more than 4-5 people) it quickly eats your memor and everything gets slow. The voting process could be improved a bit. If you have use it to vote on stickers that have been grouped together and you want the group to be the thing you vote on thats not possible. Now you have to vote on only the single individual stickers within that group. Sure you can add upp the nyber of votes to see the totality but a feature to group a number of stickers would be nice. In the beginning it was hard to know the exakt tips and trix I use today to make my life easier. For example knowing that you can select multibple items by holding down the shift key and then draging the mous was something I had to google to find out before knowing. This is now a lifesaver for me and I cant live without it. Having this as some sort of tool tip in the beginning would have been nice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The retrospectives are perfect to use with Miro and I have realized that in Covid times you can still have collaborative sessions even online
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look through the templates, there are so many good to choose from!
A great tool for creative collaboration for design agencies
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of tools makes it incredibly easy to collaborate between creative teams. Miro makes it easy for newcomers to use a digital whiteboard even if they have never tried a similar application before. You can use it on desktop computers or phones and tablets, and it's best on touch screens.
One of the great advantages of Miro is that it allows you to create a digital work environment that allows you to collaborate with your teammates in real time.
Once on a board, you can see where each team member is (through a cursor with their name), while everyone can modify their content at the same time.
In addition, you can make a video call from the same platform and share a screen.

What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding process can be a little overwhelming for non-tech people. The only problem is that its free version limits many of these features, making it perfect for singles or very small design teams. If you have more than three people who need to use a whiteboard app, consider paying for Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us collaborate between our designers without the need of being on-site in the studio. The main board has a variety of templates you can insert, such as kanban boards, flowcharts, mind maps, etc. The rest of the whiteboard space remains empty and you can insert various templates. This is a fantastic way to use different brainstorming methods on a whiteboard.
Collaboration is a key element of Miro. You and team members can chat and send messages, add comments, leave sticky notes, and create a centralized note for meeting items. You can also link and embed into other team apps such as Slack. The premium version also includes video chat, voting and screen sharing.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro can be adapted to the needs of your organization, if you find a way to integrate it into your work processes.
A great example is the Kanban board that allows you to visualize the flow of tasks, prioritize them and assign them to different members of your team. The cards allow you to add comments and mention other users.

Miro is a game changer
What do you like best about the product?
Miro changed the way we have our daily meetings and ideation sessions. The collaboration features provides freedom to the users. The possibility to bring everyone to your viewpoint is great. Besides it, even when working solo, it is a great tool, because it allows you something close to the feeling of a blank paper sheet.
What do you dislike about the product?
We lack something like formulas on spreadsheets. It would be interesting to insert tables inside table cells, to give you the freedom to zoom in for more details inside a specific cell. Another thing nice would be to use scales to measure drawings, more pencil, brushes and color options, and the possibility to insert xreferenced 3d models (sketchup, bim...). The exporting tool could allow you to choose which sheets to make pdf. It could be something odd, but having a tool that could simulate dice throwing would be useful for contests. Another nice addition could be the possibility to play background music, and audio effects to call someone in particular, or everybody.Play videos on the board. Hide and reveal parts of the board, something like dynamic light centered on each user cursor. The possibility to export the mind maps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visual planning, meeting support, ideation sessions, dashboard with Google sheets xreferenced files, basic image edition, social media content planning, creating backlog for activities, creating moodboards for every new project with image references, links to videos, links to external sites to ring additional information related to the content we are working on, agenda for meetings and to keep contacts, relating them.
We started using Miro for remote collaborative work, now we cannot work without it
What do you like best about the product?
Our team was already using Miro prior to the lockdown, but just for brainstorming sessions.
When the lockdown came, we decided that Miro would be a good software to help with remote collaboration. And we were so right. We started to explore the capabilities of the platform and every week we would discover new ways that Miro could help us work better as a team.
Right now, Miro is the main software for every project we manage.
It solves multiple use-cases, from brainstorming to planning, from strategy to prototyping.
We've also reduced the use of other tools because Miro replaced them for the most part; this highly increased productivity since we now have a centralized place for everything related to each project.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Miro feels too heavy on loading times and computer CPU, it's almost impossible to have 2 open boards at the same time.
The windows installable app is highly instable and crashes frequently.
One feature that is still underdeveloped is the mindmap tool that compares poorly to other standalone mindmap tools, we hope a future release would improve this feature.
The audio/video features work ok for up to 4 people, above that we tend to switch to another conference platform.

We use Miro for business model canvas, brand sprints, brainstorming sessions, agile management, weekly and monthly planning, prototyping landing pages and apps, basically we use it for everything project related. It's the main repository for everything related to each project.
The default templates and Miroverse (templates from the community) are a goldmine to increase our efficiency and creativity. We've discovered many new exercises, frameworks, and canvas that we didn't knew about. That allowed us to solve problems and collaborate in many different ways.
Inspired by the Miroverse templates, we are now also developing our own repository of templates that we came up with.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
At first, Miro seems to have a high learning curve since it solves so many different use-cases. Try to start just by exploring with brainstorming features and post-it to get comfortable with it. Pretty soon, you and your team will feel comfortable exploring the templates and understand the many use-cases available to simplify your team work.
Great for remote working! Great for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I couldn't be without Miro now! I am a visual thinker, so it helps with my personal projects as well as (of course) collaboration. Brilliant for show casing and collaborating on UX designs, for analysing user research data, for workshops and for journey mapping. All in all an indispensible digital tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Miro is great. I can't think of a thing I dislike.

The Zoom in Zoom out and the space bar option.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some options can be confusing and I'd love a better Kaban tool !

Brainstorming with our team and being able to present very easily.

Great collaboration tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to create notes, ideas, collect and arrange photos and files all in 1 place while collaborating with my teammates, especially during these semi-remote times of COVID.
What do you dislike about the product?
No custom color options for sticky notes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If anything, it's solved the challenge of multiple people being in different locations who need to collaborate together.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is an easy-to-use and reasonably priced collaboration tool for many uses.
It's been an incredible asset for my team and me to ideate intelligently and effectively!

Miro is amazeballs
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to collaborate in these remote times effectively has been top of mind for our teams. Miro stood out among the various solutions due to its ease of use, its rich feature set, and the beneficial and insightful Miro community.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, there's nothing I dislike about it. Very heavy boards can be a little slow at times, but I feel like that is more related to network bandwidth rather than Miro platform performance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online/Remote collaboration was the key driver for our investment in Miro. It has definitely aided us to respond more quickly to change and to rapidly align our teams on those changes.
Miro Whiteboard is almost indispensable now for our Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Simplicity, sharability and affordability. The Miro board is really quite intuitive to use and a great way to share and present ideas and reports.
For a fairly minimum subscription you can also allow your colleagues to comment and alter your Boards. We have begun to use it regularly for committe meetings where all of the materials and links can be prepared in advance on the Board and maintained there for those who didn't make it to the meeting!
I also love the ease with which we can create links, images, and resource folders.

What do you dislike about the product?
That I hadn't discovered it earlier.
It's hard to find fault actually and some of my comments might only illustrate my complete ignorance of the technology.
Could there be a way of 'running' a Powerpoint file within the Board?

It provides a fantastic platform for working in a Team that is scattered - and particularly in creating a useful space for having meetings.
