Miro is one wonderful lethargy killer for me
What do you like best about the product?
The wide variety of graphics shapes texts and the ease with which all of them flow together is amazing.
I am surprised how they pulled it all together. I was using MindMeister before, but even Miro was expensive I migrated
myself as none of the other tools are even closer

What do you dislike about the product?
Really nothing so far. I wish they could integrate a To-Do list or Kanban board with the scheduling of the task. It will be a complete suite then. But the amount of template it has makes you not feel anything missing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
From documents to scheduling everything. I have used it to build a schedule for my recent upgrade project, and I realized it is too friendly than wasting a lot of hrs on excel.
Miro is my preferred tool for "the new normal" hybrid workshops
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use of the UI. Whenever I bring new people to the tool, they don't take too long to use it efficiently. It is pretty intuitive, and I like it in general for workshops.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't particularly appreciate that it uses too many resources. If you are on battery while using Zoom (which already uses a big chunk of energy) and Miro simultaneously, it will drain the battery really fast.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it mainly to perform workshops with groups from 5 to 20 users. The users are both internal and external.
I get a Zoom meeting with all and then divide the people in breakout rooms, then assign different areas of the board to teams. This has helped a lot to have good feedback from people enjoying the activities while still being effective.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is a specially useful tool when trying to bring people together to collaborate virtually. Though, I've also used it as a central repository where all documentation of processes and results are added. The nice thing is that after a workshop is done in Miro the same board is handy to work through the results and create a report. So the board becomes both the place where things happen and a repository of results. I can then share it with stakeholders with comment access so they can review what has happened and what is coming next.
Makes our distributed team work effortlessly
What do you like best about the product?
Miro allows me to think naturally. With slides you spend too long moving things around and resizing. With docs you have a very predefined structure. Miro allows me to work in the chaotic way that my brain does, expanding in any direction that I need to. I can quickly add things to an overall board that keeps some semblance of structure but is also easy for others to read and understand.
We use Miro as a team for our roadmaps, product discovery, values workshops, and monthly retros. It's flexible and fun to work with. And brings our distributed team together in one place.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it to be possible to have everyone follow my mouse when leading a workshop. Maybe this is there but I haven't found it just yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to easily work together on a topic of problem, even when we're not in the same location together.
Online collaboration reimagined
What do you like best about the product?
Before I used Miro, I thought that the best collaboration was always going to be in person, but after using Miro, I feel like there was a better way. Miro brings online collaboration to life and allows everyone to contribute on a level playing field. Where in-person collaboration fails the introverts of the world, Miro opens that door and allows everyone to contribute.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not too fond of the desktop application; it pops up all the time when I don't want it to, and I can't see how to disable that feature. I prefer to use the browser version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online collaboration has been completely solved with Miro. There is no better way to brainstorm ideas online than using Miro (that I have found anyway).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's an excellent tool, and you can give it a try for free, so definitely do so!

Extremely Flexible and helpful templates
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Miro is so flexible. It's easy to drag and drop screenshots into the boards, to invite collaboration with sticky notes and voting dots, as well as set up grids. It can be both a wide open free-for-all or a tightly controlled collaboration environment - suitable for both divergent and convergent collaborative work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it can do so much, it can be overwhelming for guests who I invite to a board during a collaborative workshop. However, I think the interface is simple enough that new users are typically comfortable with it in just a matter of minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of my favorite things is that people don't need to set up an account to start using it. It's relatively easy for people to just jump right in and learn the basic tools they need for the collaborative workshops I run. So, my problem, specifically, is that I didn't have a virtual white board environment that provided little to no friction for first time users, people who didn't need to LEARN how to use it necessarily, they just needed to be able to jump in for a couple of hours and then, probably, never use it again.
Helpful tools for collaborative team
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the fact that you can add whatever space that is needed to collaborate with my team. You find in the miroverse all the use cases that fit to your need and just use it as a template!
What do you dislike about the product?
You need to have a premium account to export the work but there is a lot of options: pdf, sharing with the teams, image. I think that pdf should be the minimum for a free usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need one place to collaborate with my teamates. I need to work at different time and need one place to share that work. We are more productive with that solution and the product is really easy to use.

Easy & Co-operative Software
What do you like best about the product?
Colors, Brightness, easy maneuvering, easy to find boards. Great levels of filtering, A lot of shapes. Many things i ilke but the best is co-operative value of it. I can create a board with many people i work with to gain a better understanding. What I also like about my role is the fact that it automatically says as we change the board. so we don't have to worry about saving our progress it is already automatically done so there is nothing for us to worry about when closing down the desktop once we have finished for the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a while to load my boards but thats nothing i really complain about, would just be a tad better if it loaded quicker. One other thing I do dislike is when selecting various items it doesn't actually select him when it does it's very time consuming 20 shows that is selected so I can move it but this is not an everyday thing so it is not that much of a problem. There is not many things I dislike about my role so if I had to say, these are the only dislikes I would say I have towards this software because of the other thing that this software reaches every single milestone and every single expectation and every single use I would expect it to have and more. I guess a piece of feedback I would give is that it could have more variety in terms of colour coding with it's notes so when you stick a sticky note on you can change the colour to a more variety of colours rather than just the selected few but that's something that's not that essential but it would be nice to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving issues with our content management and finding paint points so we can migrate to another software and this way we can all contribute to the board in order to gain an understanding of 1 another's perspectives which will make it easier for us to present it. That is the main benefit. One of the other benefits I've also realised when using my role is that miro can be used for anything. we use it for business we use it for planning certain meetings insert and events were used for timetabling process mapping anything that you can think of that we can make interactive is what we use my role for because the benefits of doing this is helping everyone's understanding and it is easier to do so with this software especially with people that don't have a general consensus of what we're trying to convey initially
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Highly recommend. My advice is to use this when consulting and going through various processes and getting others to understand your prospect/consensus. There is not many things I dislike about my role so if I had to say, these are the only dislikes I would say I have towards this software because of the other thing that this software reaches every single milestone and every single expectation and every single use I would expect it to have and more. Awesome tool for teams to visually work together
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Miro is that you can work on the same page together with multiple colleagues. It is like a multiplayer business game. So far, I haven't found any other minimalistic and easy-to-use tool. So if you're looking for something to boost your team's creativity and collaboration, this is what you need!
What do you dislike about the product?
My only dislike is the limitation of boards one can create in the accessible version of Miro. I would also like to use this tool for my private projects with friends.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do use Miro for many different topics. Either for online seminars, to teach new colleagues in a fun way, or for visualizing our project developments.
In the past, we used pen and paper or Excel Sheets to visualize and keep track of our progress. But as you probably know, after a while, this all becomes very messy.
