The Ultimate Tool for Intuitive Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and host of brainstorming tools at your disposal. Very intuitive for first time users and the best software tool that I have ever used for team collaboration on Marketing projects. Our team uses Miro on a weekly basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really do not have any negatives. This one of the few apps in our Marketing stack that does not need training and there is virtually no learning curve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro brings our marketing team together on the same page for ideation. I can easily illustrate concepts while simultaneously getting feedback.
Intuitive, Infinite Space, and Efficient Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of using the tools in Miro and appreciate the fact that the creation space is infinite, allowing for the creation of extensive paths. The usability is very intuitive, and the project becomes very visual, easy to understand, and dynamic. This helps me structure projects and organize communication timelines efficiently. Additionally, I have had previous experience with Miro, and now I feel confident that I master the platform, being able to explore its functionalities well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Adjusting layers between elements could be more user-friendly. When I overlay text, image, and shape elements, it becomes difficult to select those on the lower layers. Often, I need to drag all of them to access the bottommost layer, then make the necessary change and subsequently replace all the other layers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to structure projects and organize communication timelines. It offers a unified view of the project and allows you to add images, spreadsheets, files, as well as share the vision and progress with the entire team.
Miro Simplifies Client Discovery and Teamwork
What do you like best about the product?
What I value most about Miro is its strong support for real-time collaboration. The ability for multiple users to edit simultaneously keeps meetings dynamic and efficient. Clients can easily keep up, thanks to an interface that’s straightforward to navigate. Visual cues such as cursors, highlights, and comments ensure everyone remains aligned throughout the session.
The flexible canvas is another feature that stands out to me. With what feels like limitless space, I can organize sessions naturally, dragging, grouping, and linking ideas without being constrained by layout limitations. This flexibility is particularly helpful when sessions change direction unexpectedly and I need to adjust quickly.
Templates also save me a significant amount of time. While Miro provides a variety of built-in templates, I’ve also developed my own specifically for requirements gathering. This approach streamlines each session and maintains consistency, regardless of who I’m collaborating with.

What do you dislike about the product?
We converted from Mindmapper to Miro to simplify our toolset. But there are a couple of features we miss -
No way to change font styles on specific nodes.
No option to change node shapes (like ellipses for emphasis).

I use Miro primarily for requirements gathering during client sessions. I invite clients into a live board where they can share their goals, pain points, ideas, and anything else on their mind. As they speak, I capture their input in real time. This makes the process feel collaborative and transparent, since they can immediately see their thoughts being organized on the screen. It helps turn a raw brain dump into something structured and actionable right there in the moment.
To make these sessions more consistent, I created a custom template that I use almost every time. It gives the conversation a framework without limiting creativity. I’ll attach a screenshot of that template as part of this review.

Effortless Collaboration and Intuitive Templates
What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Miro is how easy it is to use, along with the helpful templates that make starting a board simple. Whenever I have to collaborate with a team, I find Miro straightforward to set up. I turn to it every time I need to illustrate a process or document workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some functionalities I would like to have that aren't available, like to customize the placement of the line between two cards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem that Miro solves for me is the capacity to view all the workflows in one spot and the connections between them aswell.
Versatile Tool with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the room to spread out information and the ability to include various information formats in Miro. The AI tool is incredibly useful for extracting summaries from larger documents. It saves me a lot of time when I'm looking at patents or interview transcripts, helping me to quickly pull out a general summary or focus on specific topics. Setting up Miro was simple since I've been using it for a while. I was using Miro at my last job and liked it so much that I brought it with me to my current job.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tables and spreadsheets are pretty limited. I often end up with tables with large cells and very small text. I have to spend time formatting them before they are legible. Often complex tables have to be done in Excel and not in Miro because there is just not enough functionality in Miro for even basic stuff. Sometimes I am pasting in information from emails or from an interview transcript and my content gets clipped because I hit the word limit for the document. I end up having to put it into a Word doc and then paste in the Word doc. I think there is room to improve handling some of these larger docs that can be used as source material to pull out user needs, problems to solve, solution ideas and so on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to organize various information formats and navigate between sections easily. It lets me spread out information and the AI tool helps extract summaries from documents, saving me time.

Versatile Workspace for Mind Mapping and Agile Boards
What do you like best about the product?
Broad capabilities, like I can build a mind map and an agile board in a single workspace
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes managing a lot of elements on a board can be a hassle. Also, sometimes default shapes don't look good, so I could use a bigger catalogue and some design assistance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer journey mapping, development planning, people management
Flexible Platform with Constantly Evolving Features
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility, new features and updates according to our necessities as a product team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it difficult to modify templates, and there are only a few post-it colors available. In terms of security, it is too easy to access and share a confidential board. I wish there were an option to share just a specific, limited section of the board, so that visitors would not be able to see the rest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A collaborative and visual workspace designed for teams focused on product development.
Unmatched Versatility for Multiple Uses
What do you like best about the product?
The versatility in terms of the number of uses it can have. The ease of use and integration. The fact that the entire team can be working on the same project asynchronously and that we all see the changes that have been made.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know. I think I haven't found anything I don't like yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem it solves for me is the ability to work on a project with my team without the need for all of us to be connected at the same time.
