Miro is really easy to use with tons of great UIs.
What do you like best about the product?
There are tons of premade templates that I can pick from. The template also comes with great descriptions and recommendations on how to use them. I also like that I can share only a part of a board to a client or an employee.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, it's all about the price. All the skills I have acquired during my management time can be translated in most popular software. I started using Miro because everyone was talking about but the price per user might be a dealbreaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's made my life easier for real-time screen sharing. I can easily share information with my team or my clients in real-time. I can lead a meeting easily and have everyone focused on the same thing as me.
Amazing tool which fuels the remote work of our globally operating company
What do you like best about the product?
I love how intuitive and easy Miro works. People from all different ages and backgrounds are very fast in learning the essential features and therefore can participate very quickly in online workshops.
Furthermore, I am saving a lot of time by using templates from the miroverse and, therefore save a lot of time preparing fruitful workshops & meetings.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not too fond of the filter options of the boards in the overall overview. I would love to sort everything in folders and give people different access to different folders, comparable to your competitor miro. Furthermore, it is tough to switch from mural to Miro. We had to create everything from scratch.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a lot of distributed teams all around the world that need to collaborate, especially in times of covid. By having on source of truth for everybody all over the world we leverage the knowledge of all our colleagues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I believe it helps a lot looking into Miroverse and check out how the templates could look like and how other people are using Miro. Furthermore I would recommend to use the test version to prepare an online moderated workshop and see how your colleagues would like to use the software as a collaboration tool. As soon as you got the buy in from your colleagues and you have done the first virtual / remote Miro workshop everybody will be happy about the potential Miro is leveraging.
Great tool for visual collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ability to upload loads of high-resolution images and to create reference boards. Then I share it with teammates so that everyone can contribute simultaneously and can see the progress live.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would prefer native support for Excel sheets inside boards. As well, the stand-alone version of Miro requires login details after a few minutes of inactivity, which is annoying, that's why I prefer using the online version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create visual benchmarks and reference boards for the team who can contribute to it as well. This collaboration significantly speeds up the authoring process of digital assets that we create.
Miro impulses creativity and makes remote work easier & fun
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to display ideas, create functional brainstorms and give concrete follow-ups to any given project. Making creativity jams at remote can be difficult, Miro is a great tool to do so. My team and I found it easier to brainstorm and share inspiration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it provokes my computer to overheat because it uses a lot of space. It also only gives three free spaces to work on the free version, which can sometimes be challenging when you are a startup. Nonetheless, you can reuse them :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it mainly for brainstorms, inspiration, and creativity jams. It is also an excellent way to document your work since in one only space you can keep on so many projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use wisely your boards if you are not planning on upgrading.
Best Collaborating Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Fantastic tool for brainstorms and digital whiteboards. It's a ton of fun, but also has amazing functionality for really structuring a meeting or activity. It has specific functions for facilitators so that they can control the flow of their activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
the actual editing process of the pages is difficult and the menus are sometimes confusing. Also when I copy-paste an image from another source, the resolution needs to be 100% on Miro if not the pasted image is too small.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team collaborations, team meetings. Workflow meetings with stakeholders and deeper dive sessions with SME's. Miro has helped me keep all my stakeholders engaged.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it takes time to get used to but is a very useful collaborative tool.
When inspiration meets productivity
What do you like best about the product?
The attention to detail is amazing. This is probably the most intuitive and human-centric tool we've used in our team. We are making our own templates and having more productive meetings. The best part is that it inspires consistency as people want to engage with their day-to-day work more when it's visually presented. We started coming up with more breakthroughs by connecting pieces together through mindmaps and opportunity-solution trees.
What do you dislike about the product?
The templates suggestions & product tips have already become better over time but we did struggle at first with too much information that the tool presented to us during the onboarding stage. It didn't discourage the most enthusiastic of us but some people mentioned that they declined to receive email notifications so the tool started harassing them whenever they log in with "what's new" messages. The more we use the tool, the more value we see in these tips but it was a bit too much at the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-functional alignment among teams is the main thing. Having one board to asynchronously discuss complex issues and group ideas together is very helpful. Now, we are also doing presentations through Miro and going away from slides. Regular slides are just way too boring when in Miro you can zoom in on things, and have your workshop participants interact with the content on the board. Getting people to leave comments and feedback in documents used to take weeks. In Miro, once you ask the team, it's done on the same day. That's the power of visualizing your questions. We are also using kanban templates for simple projects just to keep everything on one board.
Miro is Next Level
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is bright, highly usable, and creates instant engagement. I think the thought put into making templates to get collaboration exercises going with minimum time investment is exceptional.
What do you dislike about the product?
The company I work for hasn't decided to purchase the software, and the monthly price is more than I want to pay right now. Freemium version is okay but limits the number of boards - so that's frustrating. There's really nothing I dislike about the software itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizational planning - typically done on PPoint decks; Miro gives me the chance to broaden and deepen the canvas, something I badly need right now.
In addition, I'm keen to run collaboration sessions across my team with this software.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get involved in their learning program - minimal time investment, but saves a lot of time.
Really good tool for research
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can do all phases of research in one organized space. Plan with dates, write drafts of research instruments and then pass each interview comment as a post-it, label it, and then group them by categories to analyze them better
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that sometimes annoys me is when the space to write inside a text box runs out, and it starts to remove important text. I would rather it crash and force me to create a new one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I solve user research problems, from planning to final readout. I also share different phases of this with stakeholders and colleagues to ask for their advice or approval.
Easiest online collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to generate a new canvas, access already created ones that you can customise, and be able to send it to everyone in a meeting so they can collaborate in a matter of seconds by just dropping a link. No-fuss is involved!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes drag and drop is annoying to use; many things are moving simultaneously, or you might not be clicking exactly where you want by mistake. Both issues can be easily resolved by using the lock or zoom tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online collaboration during meetings is 100% easier, thanks to Miro. It's making our online collaboration much more productive, prosperous, and fun. Everybody finds it a pretty user-friendly tool too.
Fantastic Collaboration Software
What do you like best about the product?
The best is watching someone else's mouse track across the screen. you watch it and can sit back and relax without the heavy load of video sharing. It's a real fresh innovation. I like when we do sprint retrospectives, and you can really collaborate and have fun with making boards, moving postits around and messing with others' stuff!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! The copy/paste functionality, the organisation of the boards, nothing really I can complain about. It's just one of the near-perfect softwares out there I'm jealous I didn't develop first!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using the platform as a collaborative environment so that the developers, CRMs and UX designers are all aligned with the deliverables. It's always enjoyable to work together
