Sometimes the visual qualities of some lightweight tools like tldraw and whimsical are better. There are more improvements that can be done when it comes to panning and navigating the boards. What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes more resources if I'm using Miro on Chrome in Intel i3 process-based devices. It hangs sometimes if I have more assets. The handwritten-based font is needed. It's always adding some more features under AI credit. If they can enable a free draw or sketching feature separately, it would help.
