A powerful online collaboration tool to create shared understanding
What do you like best about the product?
It is a joy to use this tool. The experience is smooth and hassle-free. And to express complex matters, I can use any combination of features I like. I can draw, I can add sticky notes, emojis, icons, pre-defined charts, etc. I feel very expressive and never have I ever felt limited using this tool. In fact, I discovered many different frameworks that I can use to collaborate and come to a shared understanding with customers and business units.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have a specific thing that I dislike about Miro. But when I think about it, the only time I use something other than Miro is when I'm creating wireframes. If I could do that as well, my whole workflow would be covered by Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a business analyst, I mostly work with stakeholders from various backgrounds. Instead of using traditional methods and delivering formal documents to come to a shared understanding, I prefer online whiteboard tools to visualize and communicate my ideas. This way we can collaborate in real-time and tackle challenging problems by visualizing things better.
I also like using Miro to guide participants to systematically approach a topic, rather than having a traditional meeting. In doing so, having a library of templates where I can find proven methods and workflows help.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to have a look around in Miroverse. I'm sure you will find some good frameworks and techniques to step up your game.
Great to organise thoughts and collaborate with others
What do you like best about the product?
I love the way I can easily throw ideas onto the board and start connecting the dots.
I can start seeing immerging patterns easily and I can bring others into the board to collaborate and/or run workshops with options for timers, voting and participants following me around the board.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have seen first-time users having some difficulty understanding the interactions at first, especially if they have never used similar programs. Sounds ridiculous, but I also dislike when I have to work outside of Miro, because other tools aren't as useful to me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Miro for all product operations work to map findings and existing patterns. For structuring concepts or ideas to improve product development practices. For workshoping ideations sessions and finally to define change management plans.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would suggest Miro for any organization looking to improve collaboration and structuring complex thoughts easily.
Exceptional app for team coordination, breaking down complex initiatives, and/or difused learning
What do you like best about the product?
Near-instant screenshot pasting, vast canvas, and any object/image/etc. can be linked out to another page. Further, being able to scale any number of objects at once
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! Streamline screenshot flow, unlimited canvas and zoom in/out, in-board multimedia annotating—I would like to have an entire PH.D. worth of material on one board!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Diffused learning on steroids (please see Learning how to Learn on Coursera). When there are a lot of moving parts, you can literally zoom out and in as necessary
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a shot! Maybe see how other people are using it first in the Miro community and on Youtube to get you started, preferably in your industry as well.
The best and most flexible online collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
I can brainstorm with my teams remotely and then assign tasks. I can decide myself which structure my whiteboard has, can set fixed frames or work completely freely
What do you dislike about the product?
Right-click navigation is sometimes a bit difficult because it opens the options menu. I found the function to create a new sticky note with a double click better than having to press "N" every time. And last but not least, on smartphones it's just not fun currently, I understand, displaying all the functions well mobile is difficult, but sometimes employees are there on mobile devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for all my online meetings, both to show the agenda, assign tasks, brainstorm together or create project outlines. I also use it myself to prepare my meetings and presentations because I can draw and make notes everywhere, like on a sheet of paper, but then put everything in a good order.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I can only recommend miro, with 5 minutes in the free version you will quickly realize what potential it has.
Amazing Team Collaboration and Insights
What do you like best about the product?
The ability for a team to work collaboratively, share ideas and insights, that inform collective decision making.
What do you dislike about the product?
Locking the layers is a bit clunky. Wish I could unlock just certain parts between activities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team insights and cross-team collaboration opportunities - getting us all on the same page. Seeing divergent and convergent thinking about ideas.
Collaboration, visualisation and flexibility
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Miro enables easy virtual collaboration through visualization tools on a board that seems unlimited and full of possibilities. I also appreciate the quick to share and onboard new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes gets laggy when there is too much on the board and images don't show or take way too long to load. Its understandable and at this point we split the boards to reduce load times but it is still frustrating we cant have everything in one place. I have bookmark and search fatigue!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration, visualization of ideas and note taking, diagrams for user journeys, team meetings, multi team spaces, voting of ideas, guiding discussions, recording notes.
Miro is a great app that helped me through university to create mind maps and good research trees.
What do you like best about the product?
The mind map feature and the flow chart feature. With helps me create an amazing visual looking feature for my paper or my presentation. And the implementation of these visuals are so easy to use, integrate and change around to my desired use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike about the Miro App.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping me solve my problem of creating good and professional diagrams for my research paper. Additionally, with the feature of adding more frames in just one project, it allows me to create different maps and diagrams connecting them to one big project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is really easy to use and navigate around. It is also really easy to collaborate with other team members and work individually without having the trouble to send each other screenshots of what each individual have of the project done.
Must have solution for remote collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
it's so easy to use - can pick up the basics in a few minutes, and the more complicated features not long after that!
What do you dislike about the product?
You have to know where you are with the sharing permissions - take time to understand them and you'll be fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote collaboration that would normally be done face to face, eg a workshop, becomes possible remotely using Miro. In fact, it's actually more productive using Miro - you don't need to take photos of a post-it wall, it's all on the board!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have a look at it - it'll probably make you more effective.
Excellent, an infinite whiteboard for working at home
What do you like best about the product?
Miro makes setting up a new board easy; templates and straightforward usability.
Miro is also very shareable; you do not even need to screen share for people to understand what is happening; everyone drops in on the board and works together. If they do not know where you are, they can simply "click on my face,' and I am found.

What do you dislike about the product?
I work with multiple companies, and it would be good to be able to switch between different accounts within the experience rather than logging in and out.
Also, and this is being picky, zoom levels are challenging to manage. I fill up the boards with lots of content, and often, the zoom levels become different. It would be good to have a feature similar to auto-align to make everything readable.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing information.
Visualizing relationships.
Simple collaborating.
Presenting information in different ways, using different templates to see what works.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Miro is a great tool and worth giving a try. If you do it is always worth scanning the templates to help create whatever you need faster.
Very good cooperation and visualisation with miro
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and endless shape. Working together simultaneously and getting inspiration through templates
What do you dislike about the product?
For retrospectives, the privacy is not clear enough as if people forget to delete it is almost visible to everyone.
The emojis are uncomfortable to use as they are the same kind of objects as the other objects in miro.
For responses, it would be good to have easier handling.
For the OKR template, a dashboard is missing.
This is complaining on a high level and does not reduce the overall impression.

Collaboration when working in different locations.
Miro is a very good replacement for agile analog working.
And collaboration of any kind but documents and for this, we have slides, sheets, and docs.
