Great collaboration platform
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has allowed us to recapture some of the old "whiteboarding" magic. It's not the same as meeting in person, but the next best thing. It will allow us to move forward as a hybrid "in-office/at home" workplace, which is great. Best features are the ability to frame discussions and to draw collaboratively
What do you dislike about the product?
File organisation is an area that could be improved when used across the enterprise. It is not always easy to find boards that you have used, or been invited to some time ago.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is helping us to solve the problem of how to balance working from multiple locations (homes and office) and remain productive. To help us collaborate and develop new ideas and innovate. Simply, without Miro we would not be able to drive transformations or design new initiatives across the enterprise in the same way.
A big online Whiteboard for all you and your teammates needs.
What do you like best about the product?
It's a handy tool while working with remote teammates and in the situation of working from home. It's a whiteboard with 'n' number of tools for making life easy. It has many pre-built template libraries to start your work with a single click. It's an all-in-one board with whatever stuff you are working on. Miro helps my teammates and me work and plan together on a single multi-shared whiteboard. It has many features and a robust toolbox.
Along with that, it has a library of multiple templates, which is used on the go for various project requirements. It has the feature of a timer which bound the user to follow the time & finish the reviews/action items within the timeframe. one can add cool music while performing the tasks; it's enjoyable & energetic. I like the notes menu where options like meeting notes, To-Do lists, meeting agendas are available.

What do you dislike about the product?
Miro has a dependency on the browser environment, so I mostly face issues with loading the board. It's a vast whiteboard, so sometimes, it isn't easy to locate the object or data stored on the board in the past. The toolbox for drawing the thing has enormous scope for improvement. I believe that Miro can add more drawing tools and emojis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mostly use Miro for sprint planning and story tracking. For spring review and retrospectives, this is cool to give feedback with multiple emojis. Sometimes we use it for performing fun activities virtually. It is the best tool in the Work from Home situation. Timer helps me a lot to finish my meeting in time & dedicate an ample amount of time to cover each topic. The meeting notes section can be tracked & updated.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Most user-friendly tool. Your can use it for many applications.
Miro is amazing for creating quick and detailed matrixes and dashboards for planning
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can add your own pictures in the dashboards and then link them in between. So helpful with school presentations and school projects or work POCs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really dislike anything, the product is in a great place and can only be improved as time goes. I would dislike it if certain helpful features would disappear in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me a lot in planning team events, approaches for new projects or following charts on existing procedures and policies, also extremely helpful in relaying easy to read information to others.

Take your time to learn how to use the product, it can go a long way

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when you try to align some shapes is not intelligent enough, and minimal misalignment is annoying.
We could have more templates or the ideas to be easier to find
Live score for OKRs would be so useful

Live score for OKRs would be so useful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OKR building with the leadership is proving to be the best cycle yet. Very easy to communicate and to see what other areas are doing next semester to help the company innovate.

Miro is a great tool for team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Miro allows many people to collaborate while working remotely. It's an effective tool, and very nice visually. We've built dashboards for SWOT analysis, brainstorming and retrsopectives
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes some time to learn the tool. Specially when zooming in and out using the mouse (then I learned that there are zoom controls and a pin map to move through the different parts of the Miro). So far I haven't seen many things that I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main goal of this tool is to accomplish team collaboration whil teams are working remotely. Also to facilitate meetings and to document action items, ideas and brainstorming notes.
A great collaborative tool
What do you like best about the product?
The collaborative nature of the tool and the scope of the infinite canvas are really nice. Also, the ability to integrate it with sheets and other such apps is incredibly useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a learning curve to the app. Understanding how the integration works is not really simple. Also, the ownership transfer system or the lack thereof is quite frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We regularly have to make flowcharts to describe what we are doing and what we plan to do. To make a flow chart that is accessible to all and anyone with clear access can edit is a boon. We have also started using the board for brainstorming and for that it has been incredibly useful.
Easy to use to capture ideas.
What do you like best about the product?
The different templates and examples can be used to alter, adapt and recreate so easily. Having users in the Miro Community share their designs has been very helpful both in learning the program and deconstructing how the preview template was created.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have sometimes needed to print the board, and I have not had quite the result on the screen. Probably more my training at this stage of use so would like to see some training around getting the most out of publishing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboratively trying to strategize, coordinate information around complex processes to present information with others. Collaborating with others to share the task and create a common focus has been of great benefit.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the different templates to help organize information. By using a different template for similar purposes, I have been able to gain new insights into the task.
A Simple, Powerful Platform That Makes Collaboration Fun and Easy
What do you like best about the product?
The range of options for templates, free-form production of materials, and the ability to engage people easily with little training are the most important aspects of the software. My clients are busy and not inclined to do much onboarding for software and they consistently love using Miro.
What do you dislike about the product?
The navigation of the panel can be awkward. I find that those working from small screens or not accustomed to 'zooming in and out' find the canvases can be daunting to navigate at times. This is among the only issues I have with the plaform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This allows me to do active collaborative faciltiation with clients at a distance. It replaces much of what I used to do face-to-face, however, it also allows me to do so much more than I could before.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I've used many different tools and this is the best of the bunch when it comes to collaborative software. The addition of community templates adds so much value.
Miro collaborative tool review
What do you like best about the product?
I think Miro is one of the best collaborative tools for several reasons: it enables you to communicate visualy your ideas, invite others to join in, and collaborate, thus allowing you to reach faster to alignment inside of the team and increase accountability of team members. I have created many roadmaps that were easy to understand by everyone, and during meetings, we all edit the board's content, making our meetings more engaging and fun.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing particular that I dislike from Miro. Maybe the fact that they do not offer Discord integration. But they do provide Slack integration, which, to be fair, is more used in the business world.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I created projects and product roadmaps with my teams, and it was very easy to identify the dependencies, risks, and impact of each deliverable. It was also easy to assign each deliverable to a team member, so everybody is aware of their impact and responsibility.
Love Miro for virtual consulting workshops
What do you like best about the product?
The navigation and interaction/collaboration capabilities are top-notch, as are the boards and sticky note flexibility. The timer and music are handy to ensure we stick to schedule.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inviting clients (i.e. not colleagues) to collaborate in a meeting who don't have an account was tricky but seems to have been improved more recently. Sharing could also be improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Literally, I am solving the challenge of running workshops and meetings virtually, which Miro makes so much easier. Day to day, my challenge is running analytics research and design workshops.
