What do you like best about the product?
Fast and equipped with the proper or fantastic to efficiently convey and illustrate the work. Sticky notes and flowcharting certainly help a lots. Much better than those offered by Mircosoft.
What do you dislike about the product?
It hangs pretty often and causes more restarts. Nothing I would be able to see to resolve the issue. It needs to provide a more stable and essential to save the last work done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engineering and meeting follow-ups

Versatile and great productivity solution

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is boosting my productivity in many ways. You can quickly braindump ideas and create flows that are far away from sharing, but at the same time you can build professional boards that are beautiful out of the box so that you can share them with clients or colleagues. I love the almost infinite amount of space on boards, for me who is braindumping lots of ideas, the boards become like a historian of the various stages of my ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
The is just one thing I really would like to get from Miro, which is offline support. I'm traveling a lot and without internet connection you can only view your boards, but you cannot edit them. Maybe I haven't found the offline mode feature yet, but if its not existing, please add this Miro.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me to build workflows (product management and design), fosters my collaboration with others and became my visual hard drive for ideas. Their out of the box features and templates help me to save many hours of time per month.

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is continuously improving features and providing new ones; some great ones are simultaneous online collaboration, online and offline voting, and mindmapping.
What do you dislike about the product?
By default, formatting options are limited, and there is no way to add metadata to items.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote and offline visual collaboration

Really easy to use and useful

What do you like best about the product?
Miro's learning curve is not high. For me, it's one of the best visualisation solutions out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
The selection lasso is not intuitive. To select an element that stands on top of other elements you have to do an overall selection and then deselect undesired things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows visualising complex topics instead of writing them down in a chat, which makes it easier to understand.

What do you like best about the product?
Mind and conceptual mapping. Infinite sized canvas.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation is not that intuitive. Had to spend some time how to get around and find tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It works better than powerpoint and is easier to use than MS Project.

What do you dislike about the product?
Content can fill up quite easily if a large group is modifying the document. It can become overwhelming.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidating research insights
Planning longitudinal work
Establishing Processes

Collaboration on the next level!

What do you like best about the product?
Collaborating with my teams and colleagues both in real time and asynchronously using Miro has taken our planning and brainstorming to the next level. Better than any other whiteboard ING tools out there and constantly getting useful updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love the ability to customise how scrolling and zooming actions worked
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Both real time and asynchronously collaborating with colleagues brings so much time saving to our process and really helps make us productive

Best in class, great for collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
Amazingly intuitive. So user friendly. Everything works like it is supposed to work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes boards are either way too zoomed in or way too zoomed out. It's hard to keep track of everything. Or some frames are tiny, while others are huge. Sometimes can be hard to manage multiple frames.

Also over time as more items are added to the board, it becomes much slower to load and to use

Occassionally hard to find boards I am looking for. I belong to multiple different teams and I seem to have to search through different search bars in different teams to find what I'm looking for, it's a pain
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use for everything - initial backlogs, ideation sessions, building roadmaps, collaborating, arch diagrams, etc.

Miro has become an indispensable collaboration tool in both my business and personal life

  • March 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
During the pandemic, Miro became an indispensable collaboration tool for teams in my organization, though our use and love started in the Before Times. Miro has almost totally replaced physical whiteboards and in many cases has replaced PowerPoint for presentations. Even when we returned to work we all agreed we would keep using Miro. Gone are the days of taking photos of whiteboards after meetings and workshops and then spending time digitizing them and trying to read bad handwriting! Many of the professional communities of practice I am a member of have started using Miro and sharing board templates. Beyond the daily business uses, I have started to use Miro in my personal life when planning travel and playing complex games with friends.
What do you dislike about the product?
The enterprise account my company uses auto logs people out very aggressively, which creates a minor annoyance and impediment throughout the day. Like with any tool there is a slight ramp-up period for new users, and irregular users will be re-learning Miro every time they use it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides us with a robust tool for managing workshops and creating process models. Since its not constrained like a PowerPoint slide it gives us space to see inputs, ideas and decisions all in connection with each other which makes collaboration faster and more effective. It's a game changer for Retrospectives since it's much more engaging than text-based tools. I've started to use it as a personal Kanban board as well as Kanban boards with my direct reports which is a vast improvement over text-based tools.

Very useful for planning with bigger teams and for knowledge exchange in company

  • March 30, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to create a board and use the provided Templates.
Easy to share (and not to share - restrict access)
Easy to edit existing board
Very fast and responsive even when de board gets really "BIG" with pictures, tables,.....
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the board just disappears when getting to big (refresh helps)
Would like to have more templates for IT developing
The board should be more responsive (maybe issue in our company)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly using it for better planning and collabriration beetwen development teams
Easy gattering ideas and sharing them between teams
No need for real "boards" (solving Home Office issue)
